- Let Brian and Sara show you all the perks of flying Singapore Air's Business Class as they travel from Phuket, Thailand through Singapore to Seattle. They will cover the HKT to SIN flight (SQ739) as well as SQ28, a 14 hour flight from SIN to SEA showing you the seats, the drinks, the food and all the amenities.
**YES, I MADE A MISTAKE AND LABELED THE SIN TO SEA FLIGHT AS SQ739 BUT IT IS SQ28**

I fly this route EWR-SIN about 4x a year. It completely amazes me that it is always completely booked. Great route though. Until a week ago, my absolute most favorite business class experience ever. Qatar just took that title on a recent trip from Doha to Bangkok. The ground experience at Doha, flying business class was out of this world!
@@1bluensx We haven’t experienced the Q Suites yet, we keep hearing stories of people booking flights with the Q Suites then Qatar changes planes so they get a regular business class seat. They call it “getting Qatared”.
@ that did happen to me on one of the legs of my flight as well :(
The ground experience in Doha though. Omg. Makes you feel like a king/queen
SQ does offer a premium product. My wife and I are going to spend the first 6 months of retirement checking out Phuket, Malaysia both east and west, Indonesia and possibly Vietnam as a potential for living 6-8 months a year. I told her we would take the direct flight, business class, from EWR to SIN to kick off the trip.
We’ve done that flight as well (and done a video on it). That’s a long 19 hours, good luck. We looked at Malaysia for our retirement but they keep changing their MM2H retirement visa, we don’t really qualify anymore.
@@KhakiShorts I will have to check out that video. Supposedly they are reviewing the MM2H requirements again. They have seen an increase in people giving up the visa and not applying. Imagine that. I grew up in Singapore and Malaysia so I love that half of the hemisphere. I do want to check out your videos on obtaining a visa and healthcare in Phuket.
Random question. How far into the flight did they turn the lights down for sleep? We're taking this flight, but I've only ever flown red-eye between Singapore and the US West Coast, this will be my first long haul day flight. Trying to plan on how we're going to plan our 6 year old's schedule.....
Meal service was about an hour and a half in and they turned the lights down after, maybe 2 1/2 hours in.
