Planning for 20th October Next month Any idea hows the weather going to be
It’s anybody’s guess. September has been VERY rainy so far so hopefully it dries out some for October.
Helpful! Thanks!

Every room at The Hotel is different. There are many that are larger. This was one of the least expensive. Check with guest services for a bigger room. The staff would happily accommodate you I am certain. I worked there for a time and it was an extremely positive experience. Beautiful place.
@@kimsanchez7211 I actually got a message from Trip Advisor a while back saying my review had been removed because they had done a complete renovation and my review was no longer valid (it said only good things). We haven’t been to the States in a while so not sure what changed.
I actually think the condo was bought at a good price, but renovations cost more than I expected
It was an an extensive renovation, entirely new kitchen, walls patched and repainted, ceilings torn out and redone, new lighting throughout, guest bathroom entirely redone, new floors, plumbing work, etc. That reno cost also included furniture such as beds, bedding, kitchen appliances, etc.
2:36 George Welch was my 5X great grandfather. It's tragic that he lost this beautiful piece of land, but all things considered I'm happy with what the park has become. Thank you for your video.
Excellent video, thank you 😊
Thank you, this was helpful ❤
Thank you; just what I am looking for from youtube, practical, clear, useful information
It's similar to Jeepneys in the Philippines
Thank ypu fpr ypur video. I think it could have ripened a lot longer until soft and squishy with dark color
What was the ship line?
thanks for this great video! getting ready for my first PLU swap next week and just wanting to make sure I tick all the boxes :D
Um why can’t they be happy?
Thanks for sharing!
My dog is called Twiggy! She would probably enjoy these treats 😂
That’s funny! Do you have Twiggies (or Twinkies) in Australia?
@@KhakiShorts no thankfully not - lol - we do have more traditional baked goods from bakeries such as vanilla slices and lamingtons. Not as good as say a French patisserie but better than a cellophane wrapped Hostess cakes - lol! Growing up and reading American comics full of references and ads for Hostess Twinkies means I have a weird fascination with them. Also I’ve eaten a fair few of the Spanish and Italian Twinkies equivalent packaged cake treats, as I grew up visiting Europe.
Trick is dont unless you want to risk your life !!
Oh, now I see that now I se😂
May I ask which property law firm you used in Phuket?
Shoot me an email (found on our home page) and I’ll be glad to give you his contact info. He did a great job for us, we’re also currently using him for some other work.
lol 🤣
Looks amazing ❤
A bit pricey but definitely an experience!
Thank you for showing!
You’re very welcome. Thanks for watching.
It's a. Mows oleum the 4black ladies are mourning there departed loveonec
I learned a lot from this short video. I’m surprised you didn’t mention the movie The Rock tho.
We’ve bought 3 brand new pool villas in Hua Hin into our Thai company during Covid when prices were way down! I’m married to a Thai for the past 15 years who’s also a U.S. citizen. We have a Thai American child. We run all rents through our company and have another business my wife runs in it and no nominee shareholders. That’s illegal. She owns 51% and I own 49%. I personally own the houses on the land and have a yellow book for them, and am the only director and manager. Really was quite easy. Slowly divesting my U.S. property holdings to buy here and other places where there are great opportunities around SE Asia. I’m a lawyer so the first thing I did was hire a lawyer here I’ve known for many years to handle the transaction. Do not get into any kind of property transaction here without a reputable lawyer. Most are - some are not. Get a recommendation.
Planning on going in a couple months for the paranormal aspect of this place . There is a restaurant up the street that is supposed to have a lot of activity as well .
Realistic costs...great!
Thanks. We’re pretty middle of the road, not scraping up baht to buy noodles every day but not eating steak and lobster at fancy restaurants either. 😂
So CUTE!!!
whats the sheet material called?
Most places call it soundproofing foam. I’ve also seen it called egg crate foam.
Thx bro !! I’ll get some
Thats kind of sad looking for a business lounge. Even the one in Manila has more to offer. This just looks like a Days Inn continental breakfast.
В марте 2024 года отдыхали с мужем в этом отеле Ворабури. Всё понравилось.Хочется уже опять поехать в Таю...возможно в другой отель,но Ворабури полюбился и остался в сердце навсегда!!!
Thank you so much This is very helpful
Very detailed and awesome video!❤
In Phuket you can call the Kusoldharm foundation directly they have English speaking volunteers.
What’s that number?
Wow
How long is that tour?
About an hour if I remember correctly. Then you can spend time on your own exploring more of the grounds.
Hi what lawyer did u use I am looking to buy in Thailand
Hi I have just emailed you thanks
Totally agree, it was a disappointment. I learned only that the McCloud family were not good people, but they never really shared the life of an enslaved person on the day to day. No furniture, no tour of where the house slaves lived in the attic, or what one of the cabins looked like when they lived there, no sense of what they went through, except as a whole in the fields. Nothing about what food they ate or any personal stories about any of them. Like they didn't exist as a person but as a group. That and the fact that what they are showing us is pretty much a lie the McCloud family created to romanticize the plantation. Really disappointed. Not worth the visit. I learned nothing.
*promo sm* 💯
This is the kind of adventures I would enjoy. Thank you for taking us along.
You’re welcome and thanks for watching. We always try to find afternoon teas everywhere we go, we recently did one at The Fullerton Hotel in Singapore, so good!
Had to Google what land tax is as our country does not have that. It's still extremely cheap in Thailand.
Very cheap. It was called property tax until this year then they started calling it Land Tax.
Great video and well explained. We do most things just like you and even have short TH-cam videos with instructions for our devices. 🙂 We look forward to meeting you in August! Best wishes and see you then, Jana and the boys (also PLU)
agree... probably making health claims that the government doesn't agree with
Thank you!
Thumbs up 👍 Brian
Re the House Registration Blue Book - does your name show in it or not? What is the purpose of the Blue Book ?
My name does not show in the blue house book (only to register Thai owners) but it does appear on the chanote which is a large legal paper sized document that is issued when the property is built and passed from owner to owner.
@@KhakiShorts my name also does not show in the Blue Book but my name definitely shows in the Chanote as the buyer and owner on the condo unit - I was told by the Land Department that my name had to show in the Blue Book to avoid the annual property tax. Do you believe this ?
@@user-wx3lo3eo5h I don’t know about that, I thought everyone had to pay property tax. We just paid ours (made a video about it) and it was only 1500 baht, super cheap.
@@KhakiShorts I was told, and I think you would know better, that if you own just 1 property you are not subject to annual property tax. If you own more than 1 property, the property tax applies to you. Indeed, the current property tax is low, maybe to get the government representatives to agree to the law, but after maybe 10 years, the property tax could increase by 10 time - to THB 15,000 in your case as an example. Anyway, just wonder if you know if the property tax does not apply if you only own 1 property - thank you.
Good guides, but what do you do when a guest has “pinched” one of your books? Maybe you just mini-warehouse the valuable (or sentimental) ones?
Never had an issue with that but there’s a first time for everything I guess. None of mine are very expensive but a couple I’ve had for years, all paperbacks so easily replaced.
