I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease around my mid-50’s, once I received this diagnosis by a blood test and stopped eating gluten, the pains in both of my thumbs and a lot of other body/ joint pains went away.
I should also mention that at the same time it was discovered that I was extremely low in Vitamin D3 and was prescribed a high dosage of 15,000 I.U. of Vitamin D3 daily.
So taking Vitamin D3 and eliminating gluten from my diet was extremely helpful in eliminating my body and joint pains.

A simple blood test is always worth doing. In the majority of cases it will be fine but sometimes an issue like this will be picked up. Glad they found it !

Have you found a way of keeping it off clothes as what I have is quite thick and I just can't rub it in enough. Or perhaps the brand you use is lighter and better absorbed? Many thanks.

It seems that the diet and supplement recommendations for arthritis and IBD are almost identical. (Arthritis can also be a consequence of IBD.)
Do you ever treat these diseases simultaneously?

These treatments are recommended for many different inflammatory conditions. I don’t personally treat IBD as it falls outside of my speciality.
