Hi RideAlongside, thank you! That's great, and we're fortunate here to have all the public land that we do. I haven't made it into Prescott yet, but close. You're welcome, and thanks for watching!
I try to do these once a week or so, just doing these around the block. A few laps and I am good to go - not as fun as the desert trail runs, but it gets the job done in a pinch and is good for speed training. These days I focus more on picking my feet up high over long strides. Nice form - your head is very steady and not too bouncy!! Speaking of which, can I ask how you keep your running video so steady??
Hi Joseph, that's good, and you are more consistent than I am. You probably put in more miles in a week than I do in a month. I need to get back into doing them more regularly, even if it's just on the street in front of the house. Thank you. I use a DJI Osmo Pocket for all the moving shots. I just held it in my hand a few times when I was running, and held it as steady as possible. It does a great job of staying stable though. I use it on all the moving shots on my hikes.
@@ZacharyTeich-HikingTrainer - thank you I will look into that - I have tried recording some of my desert jogs and you cannot tell what is going on..!! HAHHAHA
It's the DJI Osmo Pocket II. I think I bought it for around $450 about three years ago. It's done a great job. Yeah, you need a stabilizer or it doesn't come out too great!
Subscribed. I hike and run on a lot of AZ State Trust Land up here in Prescott. Thanks for telling me about strides.

Brilliant landscape scenery man, such a beautiful film!
Hi Ervin, it's definitely beautiful scenery to look at while working out, and beats being inside.
You are always an inspiring trainer 🎉
Hi Rudy, how's it going? Thank you, I appreciate it!
