Sometimes I get embarrassed about some of the ideas I come up with, but I realize that I’m just worried about certain people seeing it and thinking im “ trying too hard “ yes, silly me trying so hard to accomplish my dreams ha. Ha. Ha
I feel like this almost every week 😂 But I just remind myself, my dreams are more important than other peoples perceptions. And yes I will look silly sometimes but who cares I’m having fun 🙌🏽
Felt this in my core. Weird how anxious this gets us bc literally only WE can make the life WE want to live. But somehow others perspectives seem to effect that… Screw what these ppl who don’t contribute think. We gotta get it🙌

My issue that I don't have the audience to listen this stuff, I believe that no one is watching my videos.
It’s just the beginning…I’m struggling too…we’re all struggling..that’s why we’re here. I get overwhelmed and overthink. I don’t know how to go about creating quality content. I have so many songs ready to go..I just don’t know where to actually start.

This is genuinely something I needed to hear. I feel like I get stuck just thinking of the music I make as the content I produce and that makes me feel like I have to rush through songs to meet algorithm standards. Stuff like this makes me feel like I can still express myself and my creative process while not rushing through my art. I'm actually going to start posting this type of content asap.

Amazing content. I started producing at home about a month ago, I just started my journey but I'm deeply in love with it. To be successful in the market you have to think out of the box and make a difference, put yourself out there in the market. Make sure your music attracts people and make sure you work really hard to have a good product. Having banger tunes is just 50% of the whole process. Make sure you're a pro in marketing, have your identity, and show it to the world!
And always remember to stay true to yourself because ultimately that’s what is gonna set you apart from everyone and it’s the most fulfilling 🙌🏽

Nah, that's just a quick fix. The only thing that works these days on social media is being an influencer, and by that, you have to make content that either helps/gives info, or just entertains. Being a musician just on social doesn't mean you release music and people will love it without context or other influencer stuff which kinda distracts you from the goal of being a musician in the first place. I've researched lots of artists that ''made it'' through social and most of them post non-stop for at least 10 years before the hit bigger crowd in here. Videos of them performing music do well but its a ratio of 1/4 which means in the last 4 videos you post only one of them is about the music and performance and the others are just info/reviews/ catchy titles vlogs which you analyze a concept or idea or the others you mentioned. If you want to hit good numbers and make an audience in here just do info videos like these or review videos or something catchy that most of the times doesn't have much to do with music, last 3 years I did a test by creating a house/techno channel in youtube messing with synth gear and stuff. My reviews videos earned me lots of views and an audience which was interested in that genre. I was still performing music but at the same time with a catchy title in mind, it trigger people to watch how I use this or that machine in a particular way the others didn't. But when I just released music it was hell, no views at all. In this channel now I earned some views and subs with uploading my Instagram videos with silly influencer guitar lessons which I didn't put much time to think and it kinda started to grow but again.....that's not performance neither music creation...i mean ok it does have to do with music but not in the way we creative musicians aim for...Dont get me wrong Im just saying my own experience and I hope someday I will find something that will work for me and other individuals like me. thanks for the ideas :|)
I recently had a negative comment from a Linkedin connection who was originally supportive. For someone who takes things personally it hurts looking back I get his point. I'm still going to continue creating music for film won't stop me. I have pressure to get a regular job anyway even if I'm naturally gifted, also I have fear of stage fright so performing doesn't come instinctively to me.

Some examples: speak about it in your art, repost content that’s related to your vision, make a documentary, tell your followers on IG stories, just keep reiterating your vision/message so it sticks with others. And stay consistent with what you say
I’m a writer and video game creator who simply loves music and sings/plays instruments for fun. However, I still feel like most of these ideas could be of great use for many types of artists; just switch up a few words. Thanks for this. You’ve definitely got a new follower.

The truth is that you probably haven’t even been posting enough to attract anyone. These content ideas are a great place to start because you’ll create your foundation then build off fhagy

Dont give up. The first 15 videos will have like 10 views, but eventually you'll build a small group of fans. And from there you grow one person at a time. Don't expect 200 people overnight
