Nick I am a big fan and I am only eleven and you inspired me to turn wood and I already have a lathe and if you read this thank you for everything and I plan on making videos in the future.
@@0_K_0 You can get a mini lathe and tools for around $250. Granted that is still a lot for an 11-year-old, but it's cheaper than a videogame system and tons of kids have those.
@@0_K_0 I have been thinking about getting one, too. Although I am not really sure where I would put it. I have mini woodworking shop in my garage and not a lot of room left over.
If you ever want to try money again Australia has some bright coloured notes which would look cool in resin shredded or whole ... pink, blue, red, yellow, green 🤞🏻🇦🇺
PLEASE- *Don’t* *forget* *Nick* *that *the* *best* *way* *to* *submerge* *and* *set* *things* *in* *resin* WHERE YOU WANT it to is to come back between 20-45 minutes later (10-15 for small pieces) and add the metal or items THEN *while* *the* *resin* *is* *still* *soft* *but* *starting* *to* *set*- and then you can dig around if you need to place things exactly where you want them! That’s the only way I know how to get things to stop floating!! Also, you can try pouring in layers as well (once one later gets to the wet but almost set phase you can pour another and repeat) I feel like this info could help a ton! You are patient but so many floating or sinking frustrations have had to be redeemed! I hope to see this put into practice one day! Good luck!! ☀️☀️☀️ P.S. your videos are a joy! Thanks for sharing them.
You took an, if I'm honest, ugly lump of money and resin and turned it into a really interesting, funky, looking bowl. The money looked a bit like swarf until you got close and could see all those interesting, little, details. I think the clear top adds another beautiful detail to the project. Love your videos, Nick! ♥♥
Nick, great video as usual. Have you thought of doing a large mushroom with wood and different color epoxies? Maybe lit from the inside. Just a thought. Have a great day Nick.
I really like it, the clear part at the top, I think, really sets it off, looks very cool 'FUNKY'. That piece of wood has a crazy grain, I love the look. When you cut through the wood while turning I was like 'Nooooooo, I loved that grain. In the end, that band of wood really sets off the bowl and was a fantastic addition/idea!!!!!
"YES I know I look like Harry Potter!" "Just gonna take a Slytherin of this!" I came for the resin and banter But I stayed, followed and rang the bell for the wackiness & Harry Potter references. Sharing aloha from Hawaii
Love the bowl. You can get lost just staring at it and Nick is life if you get his 2 references to it lol. Run, Nick. Run. Lol. Run with your ideas because they are great.
David Leaney I guess I prefer it because Peter Browns was a very small amount inset in a dollar sign on a trinket box. There’s loads more to look at here!
@@jamesjames_07 I agree James, I just admire the craftsmanship of both. Personally I wouldn't compare the two. Peter tends to experiment more which appeals to me I guess.
I love the bowl. It almost has a fade effect because it starts out clear and get more dense with money as it gets to the bottom. As always another great project.
I love that the top is clear and that you added the wood to it. The different layers are what really make the bowl beautiful. You are so very talented and extremely fun to watch. I wish I could afford to buy one of your gorgeous works of art...maybe some day...❤
You know I don’t think we’ve ever seen your house and all the items you make a display in and usage. Can you do a house tour showing where you put all of your creations?
Gorgeous looking bowl. I was hoping you would leave the rim clear. Looks fantastic - as if the money is spilling over the wood rim. Can I ask, instead of carving out the middle of a solid bowl, is there any way the middle could be cut out in one piece to allow it to made into a smaller bowl instead of a pile of shavings?
Hey NZ. Do you like dragonball? Do you think you could make your own style of dragonballs handcrafted to perfect to please a dragon maybe grant a wish? ;) STAY AWESOME!!!
I like it with the top clear. I was hoping you would leave it. Even before you added the wood I thinking it would be nice the way it was. The wood was a nice touch.
You've done a feather bowl... But what about a nice wooden lamp with a clear resin feather lamp shade? 🤔🔥👀 Edit: or better yet use white feathers but push a few drops of dye to the bottom feathers to try and give the lamp shade the same effect as the sphere you used on the Willy Wonka cane you made, I want that cane like there's no tomorrow btw one of your best projects by far 💪😎
I'm just jealous of the HAIR! You all see that, he put that bowl on his head and his hair held it up like it was nothing!! Don't mind me Nick I have hair envy since i'm going bald lol! Great video as always. You should make a circular wooden insert then fill with resin to accent the bottom part.
From a distance it has a look of granite. Before you started to turn it, it reminded me of a curling stone lol. Awesome job and definitly my fav wood-turning channel. Keep it spinning. Cheers from Carlgary Alberta Canada
The wood was an excellent touch and I was soooooo happy you kept the clear at the top, the bowl came out absolutely cool and fantastic, awesome job Nick!
I would honestly pay a good price if you would ever make me a bowl made out of metal shavings I thing that would come out cool and would be willing to pay for the price you give
That is sooo cool 😎 I kept looking for gold leaf pieces for some odd reason `\(°~°)/´ My favorite time in the projects is when you polish them. Its like bringing them to life. 💸💸💸💸

That would be cool 😊
My thoughts too!
Now that would be a fun project! Great thinking.
That was my first thought when I saw the pile of shredded money.
They will be a great idea resin and lots of it and a mold as well
The clear bit at the top actually makes it so much better. Gives it more detail. Love all the stuff you make

I like the layer effect in this one. The wood in the middle looks cool, and I even like the clear resin on top. Great job once again, Nick.
I love how you cheerfully roll with the little challenges that crop up! Never a bug always a feature, right?

Oh!! I love It. I do like the clear rim to the bowl, to me it gives the illusion that the pieces of money are floating. Well done sir.
