The best instruction video! Thank you! Shouldn’t more grease be squeezed into the boot before closing the clamp? What is the copper grease there for? How about brushing on anti-seize compound?
The main functions of copper lubricants are: Simplifies the assembly of threaded connections, lubricants maintain a constant tightening torque. Protection of metal parts from corrosion, scuffing, and a sufficient amount of lubricant was applied. AUTODOC
Why after 2 days my new cv joint pop out when I turn left ( I replaced cv joint inner and outer but after to days pop out) maybe the inner cv boot its little bit tighter when i put the new one ) can that be reasen not have so much movement ...in Skoda Fabia 6Y2
If he would have greesed rhat shaft just a bit , the boot would have slid in so much easyer, also to remove the joint only takes 2 hammer wacks and it pops out.
I refuse to use copper grease anywhere near the brake discs as when it rains or you drive through a puddle the whole disc goes brown stained and looks horrible , since I watched a video on slobbering the back of your brake pads with them when replace them ….. Nahh just a tiny bit on the sides is all you need …. But in this case anti seize instead of copper grease
finally someone posts a video for a vw caddy and it is well made and easy to follow.

Nice to see detailed attention to working the CV grease into every area, and plenty of pre rotations before final install.

Great video, truly awful background 'music'. It gave me a headache. I had to mute it.
That cv removal tool is great😲
Thank you for sharing your opinion!
You can just gun the CV bolt back in, that'll force it past the circlip
What are the plastic bushes for ? Does it matter if you dont use them ?

The axle bolt torque is 200 nm with the wheel not on the floor, after releasing the wheel, we add 180° turn.
Thanks for the clarification, your comment will be useful to many of our viewers.
Correct. I did 175Nm and bolt loosend and broke the abs sensor. 200Nm and 180° deg turn is correct. @autodoc correct this in the video.
hi I would like to know what courses the cv joint boots keeps on getting damaged few days after installing new ones?
We do not have such information, we recommend that you consult your mechanic.

Whats the difference between a brake cleaner and all purposes cleaning spray?
Brake cleaner evaporates quickly and leaves a completely dry, oil-free surface.

Best video on TH-cam! It's a must like,✔️👍 what's the crimping tool called? thanks.
The pliers for crimping the cv joint clamps.
AUTODOC
You don't need that tool to remove it, just a light tap with a hammer with the joint fully pressed down
Thanks for the clarification, we'll take that into account in future videos.

You are disassembling some parts Dana just installed not long ago :P Great video
