He is even included in a thread a certain hj stan made where they put idols who look like Hj and Hyuk was included in it. He also suits that brown-blonde hair color which Hyunjae has most of the time plus his singing is excellent. Also I love how he's super clingy to Hanbin all the time.

OMG this reaction was EVERYTHING!!! I was not expecting so much crying lol, welcome to the club. Now you understand why my comments are literal essays, because everything is so good, I could go on for hours talking about them. Honestly as a Tempest fan, I’ve been feeling pretty down since Hwarang was put on hiatus(Yuehua can rot in purgatory btw), if you know anything about the company you’ll know that hiatus might as well be a death sentence, so I’ve been really scared but I’m trying to stay positive because Hanbin told me to lol. And on top of that Hwarang is in my bias line(my bias line is Hanbin, Hwarang, and Taerae) so it’s extra rough for me. And you can also tell that the rest of the members are feeling a bit down too, but they’re trying their best to put on good performances and have fun. Highly recommend their comeback btw, they came back yesterday with Lighthouse and it is definitely one of their career highlights for me, along with the mini album(Yuehua is killing me with these 4 track albums). Lighthouse is like Can’t Stop Shining’s more sensual and slightly depressed sister. And Hwarang is still in the MV and on the album which makes me feel a bit better. The song feels very bittersweet, so with Hwarang on hiatus the song really hits you in the feels(I might have cried a little bit). Watching all seven of them smile together in general feels a little painful right now. But your reaction really brightened up my mood, I had so much fun! Anyway back to Can’t Stop Shining! My favorite title track(and one of my favorite mini albums too, their debut album is just too good) to this day, Lighthouse came very close though. Like it would be a loss for humanity if he just stayed in Vietnam and worked at a desk job for a marketing firm or something, like he needed to be on stage. He is a light on this earth, I sometimes can’t believe he’s real but I’m glad he is. His existence literally gives me hope lol. Honestly the same could be said for the rest of them as well, the whole group just has a palpable star quality, and I just wish I could keep them together and protect them from all the pain. I don’t even know where to start lol. Taerae has to be Gyuvin’s long lost brother or something lol. When the boys planet contestants were revealed, the Tempest fans were like “did they clone Taerae in a factory or something?” In addition to Yoo Seungeon looking like Hyeongseop and Yujin giving Eunchan vibes, this company must have very particular taste. And they’re all friends, so it can’t get better than this. And Eunchan is just enchanting and a literal giant(He’s 187 cm which is like 6’1 but he looks 8 feet tall sometimes because there are a lot of short kings in the group) so he sticks out like a sore thumb a lot of the time and it’s really funny. But he is way too good looking, I’m glad he has like negative rizz(in a good way, he’s just a cute, clumsy, awkward, not-so-little guy and it’s really funny, watch their variety content!) or else I wouldn’t be able to survive it. Hyeongseop is also very handsome but very weird off stage, he does a really good dog bark and just does it randomly(again watch their variety!). He’s also obsessed with Hyuk’s forehead, which is weird but completely understandable. Btw there is pretty much no official center but Hyuk has the most center time because he dominates the line distribution, I give him a pass because he’s the main vocalist and his voice is very pretty and integral to Tempest’s sound. But Hyuk is a huge problem for me because he’s too pretty(even his hands are pretty lol), it makes me nervous. His jawline could literally cut paper and he’s just so charismatic. Speaking of problems, Lew. He is just the cutest little guy but he can flip on you in a second. Like his arms are crazy, his body is crazy, but if you put a cute fuzzy sweater on him you’d never know. He’s deceptive, you can’t trust that man. And he only gets worse from here so buckle your seatbelts. I like to call Hyuk and Lew my problem children lol. And Hwarang! I adore him dearly. You’d never know since he’s usually comes off as very fierce but he is just sweetest cuddle bug I cannot get enough of him. And he’s just a fabulous idol, his style of rapping, dancing, and even singing is so special and self assured. He is such an asset to Tempest’s overall energy, and without him there’s just an emptiness that makes me very sad, like the seven of them make such a perfect synergy that even with just one of them missing it throws the whole thing off(and I hate six member group formations). Anyway I’m desperate to have him back with the team. Also the b-sides on this album are great. Only One Day is a personal highlight for me, I love a pop ballad, the song and the choreography just everything. And the lyrics and the performance are so pure, it makes me tear up. And Start Up is just iconic because they’re hot, feeling good, and fantastic(and they know it). The next comeback is Dragon, which is probably the most polarizing title track to this day. There are some fans that like it, but a lot of them like to pretend that it doesn’t exist(including me lol). Even some of the Tempest members have hinted at not liking it that much, and they don’t actually perform it a lot anymore. It’s just that if you love songs like can’t stop shining, Dragon will be hard to swallow. It still makes me cringe a bit when I listen to it now, that chorus is definitely something. The boys are still fabulous but the song is just not it for me. Luckily they also made an MV for Taste the Feeling which is so sugary sweet that it will rot your teeth, so please watch it as well so that you can still see the bright smiley Tempest that we love. That mini album is like if whiplash was music lol. This was literally a novel lol, congratulations if you manage to read it all. Anyway please keep watching them! these videos are so fun for me. And let’s pray that Hwarang comes back soon.

I’m more concerned that the girl who “exposed” him went to that club three days in a row just to watch what he was doing, and then brought it up to his face on a fan call. Like that’s crazy stalker behavior, I can’t believe these people think they have any moral ground to stand on.

Well okay, let me get the present-day rant out before I enjoy the throwback reaction 😅 So Hwarang is the SWEETEST boy, firstly. I really believe the company's "restoring trust" line could stem from him being *honest* about what he could(n't) promise. Considering this all started with a fan call, it also kills me to remember him answering a silly question about reading minds: he wants to know people's intentions so he doesn't get hurt. 💔 Now, I realize I don't have the best perspective to understand the company's actions, but I *really* don't understand. The fan base is largely international--90 to 95% of comments on any of their content here on YT are Vietnamese or English. So Yuehua initially just issued an apology, and everything as far as I could see was fine--view counts stayed stable, the members went live and I didn't notice any awkwardness either between them or reacting to comments. I don't think their actual fans cared--and I don't mean that just in a "we don't claim them" way. Then, two weeks later, they suddenly suspend him. Well NOW tons of fans are mad *on his behalf* and view counts are down. Sales numbers look good so far (though I don't know if they're final), so I hope the company puts that together and realizes we're here for the whole group. Their observation of and/or care for international fans begging for subtitles for forever has been pretty bad, though... I wonder if the presumably conservative(ish) old(er) men in power just hate us. I like to imagine they won't be able to kick him out because the other members would walk... but that would probably leave them in an ocean of debt if not legal issues. Anyway my happy moments lately are Hanbin holding onto their greeting pose extra long (it's a T... or a 7), Hyeongseop finding the sticker sheet of all 7 to show during their spoiler live, and watching older content like this--on with the video~ 7-1=0

Well okay, let me get the present-day rant out before I enjoy the throwback reaction 😅
So Hwarang is the SWEETEST boy, firstly. I really believe the company's "restoring trust" line could stem from him being *honest* about what he could(n't) promise. Considering this all started with a fan call, it also kills me to remember him answering a silly question about reading minds: he wants to know people's intentions so he doesn't get hurt. 💔
Now, I realize I don't have the best perspective to understand the company's actions, but I *really* don't understand. The fan base is largely international--90 to 95% of comments on any of their content here on YT are Vietnamese or English. So Yuehua initially just issued an apology, and everything as far as I could see was fine--view counts stayed stable, the members went live and I didn't notice any awkwardness either between them or reacting to comments. I don't think their actual fans cared--and I don't mean that just in a "we don't claim them" way. Then, two weeks later, they suddenly suspend him. Well NOW tons of fans are mad *on his behalf* and view counts are down. Sales numbers look good so far (though I don't know if they're final), so I hope the company puts that together and realizes we're here for the whole group. Their observation of and/or care for international fans begging for subtitles for forever has been pretty bad, though... I wonder if the presumably conservative(ish) old(er) men in power just hate us.
I like to imagine they won't be able to kick him out because the other members would walk... but that would probably leave them in an ocean of debt if not legal issues. Anyway my happy moments lately are Hanbin holding onto their greeting pose extra long (it's a T... or a 7), Hyeongseop finding the sticker sheet of all 7 to show during their spoiler live, and watching older content like this--on with the video~
