Back to bloodhound myself he has very poor solo capability imo due to not having an escape like a grapple,or a defence ability like gibby/rampart and he requires teamwork to be effective ,but my strengths are my aim and positioning and he compliments that :)
I tried out vantage and she is definitely fun. Unfortunately I haven't found my main yet as I have played every character at least for a few games and still don't feel comfy on a single one.
@@2kyz_ nah it's easy, you need to be decent at the game, after you lose some games, the game put you in an easier lobby, obv you need to manage to win 1v3s but as you can see from the video they were almost bots. Source: personal experience, max rank reached diamond 3 and i have 2 20 bombs and 4k on wraith and rampart.
@@Electrostatic_Fusion honestly yeah if you think about it, it's much easier to get a 20 bomb if you get matched with lower skill players after losing a bunch of games. For example that horizon team threw her ult, did not push on it, and then came at him 1 by 1 lmao. Also that valk team just landed on a rampart with walls up, brilliant. Not to take away from tgm's skill, but there's a reason no one gets 4k 20 bombs in ranked
I'm a Rampart and Mad Maggie main and despite the fact that on paper they are opposites they somehow feel the same, not to mention they sound like the only characters that actually have fun in the Apex Games
I started maining Rampart this season after watching some of these videos and it honestly rekindled my love for the game. I haven't resonated with any character other than pathy, but rampart is just so much fun if you use her kit right. Got my first triple triple with her last night too! Thanks for the fun gameplay vids!
Honestly I feel the same way. Vantage is fun and everything, but I played Rampart the most, I pretty much have my muscle memory stuck on her playstyle, and after a short break when I came break I popped off some solid kills with her. Didn't win, sure, but I felt great while it happened and I still feel a lot better when playing her
i dont even know what it is but when i first started playing her i did better than using any other legend so i just kept using her. add the fact that she has such low pick rate. i can almost always get her when playing with randoms
I’ve mained a few legends throughout all the seasons but idk what it is with rampart even before her buff I was using her and I think the one thing I really enjoy is her ult I love shredding people with her minigun never gets old. I think her ult out of all legends is the funniest one

As a main Rampart, like you, I also sometimes play with other characters for a medium-long period, but the first true love is never forgotten and when you return to her... the lobbies are stomped! 🥰
I'm been playing a lot of Maggie since her really enjoyable buffs this season; but I've been falling back on Ash when being really aggressive isn't working for me. Ash is a "patience & planning" legend for me, with short bursts of aggression - which usually works well when I'm solo.
Quick tips for ya then double stacking walls beets Maggie it just looks like her drill goes threw the second wall + if it hits the amp you can just shoot threw 2 amp and stop it from doing anymore dmg to your back wall if you box yourself in and crouch u beet gibby's alt and as long as a wall is up against the rockets closest to you walls beet Bangalores alt costic is like Gibby as long as there is no gap walls beet gas
I have noticed in general less people have mains in apex these days, which I think is a good thing, that there are lots of viable and fun characters that fit all manner of playstyles.
I absolutely raked a full squad hiding in a building with Sheila in the most disturbing way possible. In that I knew it was broken, but lords was it funny. Single clip decimation. Such a fun character right now.

I have been playing since Season Five and still do not have a main because I will always want to play different legends, although I was excited for Vantage since the leaks but I cannot play her most of the time because other players are.
I mained Rampart mostly on the season 13 because is my fav characterto use (the hardest one so far) to reach Platinum and now im useing Vantage on this rank because Kings Canyon is a mess for her. I feel confident to main Rampart again in the next split.
I have no main. I cannot decide which would be best for me. I like so many of the legend and other I cannot play Rampart because my brother plays her. He does not use her ability as effectively as you do. But you play much more than all my brothers combined. You have prefected her style of combat. Well done. I usually play with my brothers and they main Rampart and Fuse/Vantage.

I tried Vantage a few games and went back to Valk to really see how bad her nerf was. It's not as bad as ppl act, she went from like S tier to A-/B+ tier imo. She still my main B, but I did use Rampart to clear up a few 10 ⭐ parts of the BP and man I have to say she is funny than I thought to play and I enjoy her kit. Will start mixing her into my rotation of Legends when not using Valk.

I recently played a rampart game... Usually i never play rampart, wattson, horizon...and I can't believe i made a massacre when played with rampart... absolutely lovely ult she has i must say

I still wish rampart could delete her cover through walls and from a bit of a distance, not super far, but like 20-30 meters, so if your cover is screwing over your teammate by trapping them at a door while getting shot at you can quickly break it. Can't tell you how many times that has happened when I play rampart, it's the last thing she needs to make her played more by casual players.
They were obviously out of position if they got caught outside of a Rampart wall. Team fire through a wall is the absolute most dps resulting in the fastest ttk you can get in the game. I've got code:snake on console so many times because I've broke the games logic with amped walls.
I would like you tu make the stationary turret challenge, is winning with rampart but you can use the turret lile in season 6-9 pre buff that would be fun

@The Gaming Merchant I watched live last night. I noticed when you solo pub, you tend to favor cover more and use it to your advantage. But in ranked, especially when you're frustrated, you just W key out into the open more, which tends to get you killed. You also still have a solo mentality where you will W key ahead of your team. While you cannot rely on randoms, you can use them at meat shields, and more often than not you end up being their meat shield. On one game in particular you had a Seer on your team, and you ran straight into another team on KC and got downed. IMO, you should have let your team go ahead and let the Seer scan for heartbeats ahead. Even if he did not, using him as a meat shield you would have survived. You are also slow to rotate out of bad situations. Often on KC, getting attacked directly or attacking directly is bad, especially on the first half of the game where kills are not worth anything. Better to stick to third partying other squads. But also pick fights more in the second half than the first. You do win fights in the first half, but still end up being negative because after you win the fight you get thirded. --- You mentioned you would play ranked more on Storm Point. And it will be easier for sure. But I think KC gives you an opportunity to practice measured aggression (knowing when to fight, when to back off, and to do it quicky).

Double Kraber play against the Horizon/Bocek team was really satisfying to watch.
