Super fun tutorial and, by the way, a jolly good shooting idea. I just went through some of your other videos and I definitely enjoyed them. Thank you Sir. You just got yourself a new subscriber. Great work. Good luck 👍
This is a great effect and a razer-sharp explanation with no beats missed (subscribed). - Two things: 1) It's "Retime" controls, not "Realtime". 2) The automatic mask was a bit lenient, so you had some halo around your clothes.
Haha. I must have mispronounced it in the video. Thanks for the heads up. Yeah I didn’t spend too much time refining the mask for the sake of time in the tutorial. However in the final I still intentionally left a little so that it created a bit of a rim light, since the sun was directly behind me. :-)
You could use a slider to have some movement. Just make sure you have some forground in the shot to show that the camera is moving. You could also slowly zoom in or out using key frames and the transformer section of the inspector. Also composition counts for a lot. Getting the right amount of ground and sky and having the seen look aesthetically pleasing.
Great question. The difference is that magic mask on the color page is more temporary. If you go back to the edit page and make any adjustments to using transform you’ll loose the mask, but if you do the same using magic mask in fusion, you won’t loose it. Hope that helps.

The passage of time is significant
Agreed. ✨⏱️

Very cool 🔥
Thank you. 🙏🏼✨
Fuuuck that effect is sick. Can that be done with Premiere pro as well?
While I’ve never used Premiere Pro, I’m nearly positive you can. Steps might just be a bit different.
awesome!! thank you :)
You're welcome! Thanks for watching. :-)
Brilliant. Is there an option to do all that with one click
Hahaha. Seriously!
@ Absolutely. You see I’m incredibly lazy 🤣. Seriously though. Excellent tutorial. Is this possible on the iPad version do you know ?
love it :)
Thank you.
This is so cool! Any tips on how to make a timelapse of clouds more captivating?

@@Rain_Michael Thanks for the reply! I'll keep it in mind. 🙏
Hey thanks for this! Is there a diference between Magic-Mask in Fusion and the on in the color page? And why did you ise the one in fusion??

@ CRAZYYY ?!
I experience that all the time, and never knew why that happens😃! But also I always avoid Fusion Cause it loads the GPU verry fast! 😅
hi ths is cool! just wanna ask can i do this with the free version?
It looks like magic mask is only available in the studio version of Davinci Resolve. :-/
VERY cool! :-)
Thank you. :-)
