I installed into a much thicker door, and fashioned my own extension of specific length by using a metal blade in my chop saw on a hex-shank drill bit -- which fits in nicely in the 9/32" hole.
Just moved into a new house and the top drawer in closet is locked with one of these, no matter where I put the magnet I can’t get unit to budge. Any suggestions from ppl that have had these installed lol?
That's great for a perfect install people... What about when your door is thicker. Would be nice to have instruction how to use the extension. Seeing as the kit comes with zero instructions too and the magnet won't open in kind of stuck figuring it out huh.

I found great plans on the Stodoys website. I think this is a good solution for everyone.
