What a joy to see you feeling joy at spending time with loved ones. I am always inspired to do something productive when I see and hear you. There is a little botanical park a couple of miles from me that does a stunning Christmas light show. good girl. Sometimes it doesn't take much. When we were at Old Navy shopping, the customer next to me gave me her super cash certificate to use. She simply smiled as she handed it to me and I saved $50. I gave our waiter extra for his tip because he was such a charming funny guy who made sure our coffee was piping hot and fresh. It is getting difficult these days to get good service and I like to reward that when I get it. Even a thank you goes such a long way. Have a great week Michelle
Denise, you have the best ideas! What a wonderful thing to make memories with and for your family! What a joyful thing for everyone involved! I had to laugh when you talked about Costco. I love shopping at Costco, BUT at the same time it gives me so much anxiety. The parking lot (YIKES), the crowds, the lines. I've been timing my visit for first thing when they open, but when I went this week, the checkout lines were crazy long. Now I'm thinking maybe I'll try later in the morning ... I'm always looking for an angle! Glad you will be starting on Tamoxifen. I hope the side effects are mild. Thank you for showing Misty. I have to admit, seeing her made me cry ... she is a beauty! Hi Ann. We go as late in the day as possible to a smaller community on Vancouver Island, whenever we are over there. Say 5 o'clock, They are quietly folding and restocking for the following day because this store closes at 7. It's not busy and the pace is casual. A wonderful experience. I wonder where Misty is now? Lucky girl on a road trip to a nice warm location!
Oh yes, Anne. Allan made a huge pot of chicken noodle soup yesterday and we girls made wreaths while the boys and kids decorated the house. I am so grateful for the help and the enthusiasm.

Absolutely. They came over yesterday as an invasion and decorated my house. Inside and out and lights, too. I was so happy.
