Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Mafex looks like a man in the suit.. Very accurate. Almost spot on. The BEST 6 inch figure of Fett.

They're both from ESB. ROTJ has red gauntlets and a colored jet pack with some other noticeable differences.
Honestly to me, the mafex version is like a movie prop costume, whereas the hasbro is a junky Walmart Halloween costume. Just my opinion
The Casual guy Absolutely! The Black Series looks nothing like the movies. The Revoltech looks like a cartoon caricature. The Bandai kit is too bulky. Boba Fett is supposed to be a slim, average guy in a tight suit, with a large bobble headed helmet. Something the Mafex gets spot on. Along with the drab military green armour and blueish grey flight suit.

I own the hasbro boba fett and honestly to me it looks perfect, i wish i could own both this mafex one and the hasbro one, but where i live i doubt that i will find it.
@@duibetheowl8867 Mafex figures may look amazing, but they're always fragile and scary to mess with. To put it in the terms of this analogy, you can actually play around in the halloween costume but you will never put on the actual movie prop in fear of damaging it. I would rather have something I can pose and play with than something I am too afraid to move. Unless you want a 100% perfectly proportioned, detailed and painted figure, the black series will definitely make a great boba fett figure.
@@j.epstein7723 another problem is that they are expensive, specially where i live. I'll just stick with Black Series because i think they do the job quite nicely, if i ever decide to get a Mafex it will be just one. Thanks for taking the time to tell me these things buddy!
It looks leaps and bounds better than the Hasbro version. The Hasbro one looks like a toy, this one looks like a model replica of the actual actor from the movies.
Someone's probably already said this but you were right the first time; the Hasbro Black Series figure is indeed the Empire Strikes Back version, but the Mafex is more screen accurate. The Hasbro one will always have a special place in my heart but runs so expensive now I would say anyone out for a Boba should just go Mafex 1) much better looking figure 2) you can get it for like 40 bucks on AmiAmi meanwhile what was a $20 Black Series Boba goes for like $60 to $90 on the secondary market. I will say the Hasbro is more durable, though.

Apples and oranges. If you want a toy which you can get your pew pew on with and that you can handle every day without fear of breaking, but with less care to the accuracy to the colours and proportions: get the Black series. If you want a movie accurate centre piece, to just pose every so often and keep in a cabinet display: get the Mafex version, as the proportions, sculpt, detail and paint are as close as you are gonna get to the Empire Strikes Back, which both are based on. Just won't be as playable due to the brittle material and loose joints. Pose or Play! You choose.

I have the ROTJ figuarts version and I love it, i love the look of this figure, but not sure it’s worth the price tag it has. I got the figuarts for £50...and the mafex goes from £100-300. Anyone think it’s worth it for £100?
You really should get the mafex darth Vader it's amazing. Probably the best darth Vader in the 6 inch scale
I think t's gonna have some solid competition with the new Black Series Rogue One release of Darth Vader. But I have to agree, I find the Mafex Vader superior in just about every way especially when all the accessories come to mind.
He might be waiting for the Rogue One Mafex Vader. That has the best looking proportions from head to toe so far
Carlu Yabut I think the new black series one looks good, but from my experience, black series figures always have QC issues, and just by looking at it I don't think it's really any competition for the mafex figure. And that's not saying it's not going to be a good figure, but I really only get troopers from black series unless it's a figure that black series has released that mafex or shfiguarts hasn't released (Han and Chewie a while back) or one that I don't think mafex or figuarts will release (revan). That's why I probably wont get the rogue one darth Vader unless I here from more than one credible source saying it's better then the mafex one.

Medicom? (saw that on the back of the box) Those guys make the Unit-01 from Rebuild of Evangelion. I want that Unit-01 sooooo bad! It's seamless, has the best articulation and HOLY SHIT THE PROPORTIONS ARE AMAZING(proportions are a big thing for me on Eva figures, and I hate Revoltech s for that one reason) did I mention it's 16 inches tall? If I get my hands on one, I'm doing a review. I don't care, I will buy one and do a review.
ROTJ Boba Fett wears different colored Gauntlets that have different weaponry from the ESB version. He also wields a new blaster rifle and his belts are different. I think those are the main significant changes to the Boba costume.
You'll get the return of the Jedi version too? (You know, different blaster, colored jetpack, and red wrists)
IMO, Mafex is SO much better than Hasbro.

I think they are both Empire Fetts. Boba had a red and yellow jet pack in Jedi. Or at least I believe he did.
Dean Prater yup! he also had red gauntlets, a green cape (instead of tan) and the pouches in his belt wrapped all the way around the front. He also used a different blaster.

Joe Cyr also his pockets attached to his belt are moved to the sides of the hips rather than in front of the thighs. plus the entire suit has a reddish hue rather than the bluish hue seen in the empire version. honestly there are too many differences to go over. I could literally talk for an hour about the differences hahaha. I think it's cool that mafex is paying close attention to the details and even the slightest of differences between these two versions of fett.

Yeah, and the major differences between the two Fett outfits is the Empire one has green gauntlets with a holstered pistol and the Jedi one has red gauntlets with no holstered pistol.
RotJ Boba had red gauntlets and the blue jetpack. I think the Black Series version is just a matter of a different shade of green.
The black series one is from the empire strikes back as well, the jet pack on RotJ is blue, has different wrists, and the cape is different, there might be other differences but these are the ones I know.
You are right on the Black series being from ESB Thomas (thought it's color sceme is a little too bright compared to the film), the ROTJ suit is a little different, the colors overall are a little more vibrant, his thick belt and wrist armor thingies (I think they have some different things on them but not sure on that) are red, his jetpack and helmet have different colors on them as well (mainly some blue and red highlights in some places like the border outside his helmet visor and the back of his helmet), his cape is different like you pointed out (I believe its completely green) and he also doesn't have the small blaster and holster he has in the ESB version. Overall it's mainly the same suit just with slight color variations to highlight the features more (in the ESB version it all just kind of blends together more)

I thought the Fetts were pretty bland characters.Especially Boba.
And the stories from the old EU are just SO laughable for the attempt to make him "badass", that they just come off as bad fan fiction for me.

Everyone dies in rogue one including Jyn and krennic. Dearth Vader kills a lot of rebellion soldiers with light saber and the emperor is not in it. Spoiled. Good movie tho
