I live in Solan it is not true that aatta Ferment in single night....from October to March we don't keep aatta in fridge it takes atleast 36 hour to Ferment slightly not fully...and you telling it a winter dish...😅
Simla railway mutton curry is the Indian version of British Lancashire Hot pot. Often made in the U k. Second dish khitchdi using dried animal fat is not healthy at all & can be replaced with desi ghee. Will taste equally better& nutritious too!
Aditya sir , the khobli recipie is not at all authentic , injustice to the recepie from the hilly area of shimla , I want to give the original one , please if possible mail
It is something which cannot be made by just giving the ingredients I ll share on my channel when I go to Jubbal , I ll make it with my mother, it is just amazing
Siddu is made up of fermented flour , in earlier days this fermentation was done with flour ( sajheda-kneaded flour which was kept in the container with dry flour ,this was used for fermentation ),though these days the fermentation is done by using yeast . Khobli is made from freshly kneaded dough. Siddu are cooked in steam whereas khobli are cooked in boiling water with rice added to it , but the rice is added to the boiling water after 10 mins of cooking the kho li in water .
