    Great interview! Your skills have improved so much. I get the feeling that you are actually listening to them, allowing them time to talk and not giving me the feeling that you are just thinking about the next question and not listening to them. You give them plenty of time to express themselves. Great interview.

    It’s amazing how HEALTHY and RELAXED they look now that they’re living in Ghana. I’ve also noticed that with others who have moved back, it’s like a HEAVY weight has been lifted off their shoulders.

    The youth has to know that integrity is currency & they'll be doing themselves a disservice by continuing the status quo of corruption.
    They need a change of mindset.If they can have the courage to do what's right then Ghana will prosper.

    I think Ghana should create a special visas for African Americans or all blacks in the diaspora. I know it’s not easy because there’s no and will never be reciprocal agreement with the US government like Ghana has with Jamaica, Haiti, Barbados, etc.

  • @StirUpYourPurpose
    @StirUpYourPurpose ปีที่แล้ว

    Interesting interview but when you think about it the so called "wheel" is everywhere, whether you are in America or someplace in Africa and you have not reached that "retirement age" you still got to hustle and provide for the family and put a roof over your head and this would be through any other 9-5 work or you running your own business.

    • @offthewheel
      @offthewheel ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Respectfully, I disagree.
      The "wheel" is not about easy living, no issues and riding off into retirement age.
      The wheel is about working in a system designed to keep us broke, anxious, distracted, dumb consumers, over leveraged, unhealthy ... to the point where we dont have the energy to consider anything else.
      I would argue that ANY one of our people could make a 5 or 10 year plan to move to somewhere in Africa.
      Once you have your housing paid for the remaining expenses are reasonable.
      There are 1 BR condos in Ghana for $50k. Im not sure where you are from, but almost ANY American can save that.
      Then the next piece to the puzzle is how do you create an income stream after you have bought a place to live.
      Its doable.
      People are doing it everyday.
      And even though we do have challenges in Africa, we dont have white supremacy racism; we dont have micro-aggressions at work; we dont have cops to be fearful of - so the tradeoffs are worth it, at least to me it is.
      If you ever need help figuring it all out, Im here to assist you.

      @@offthewheel have you thought about lending your finance/ stock exchange skills through teaching to the young Ghanaians in your field? The Ghana stock exchange/ securities exchange commission located in the Cedi house around the national theater runs an evening school. maybe you can teach them a course on American stock market etc, you can also run a course at the National banking college. The pay won’t be good but you will be giving back. Pls think about it, ghana needs people like you. Or start your own private program🤣😃. Best of luck. As for your wife in pharmaceutical the options are unlimited! I would ask you folks to just bear patience and keep pushing, you will see massive results in the vision you have for ghana. Take care

    People who’s not Native to NEW YORK or non generational New Yorkers Only gauge this place by commercialism! First of all, New York is a state, but so many outsiders only see it as the city‼️ I know for a fact that people don’t even understand that there are five boroughs that make up New York City! There are MANY WAYS to Live in N.Y. - extremely poor or Extremely wealthy and then there’s the middle. So outsiders should never get starry-eyed 🤩 over a place they could never understand or Afford
