  • Judah moved from Chicago to Accra, Ghana to open Jerk Soul, a restaurant that fuses Carribean and Soul food flavors. It is one of the BEST tasting food experiences I ever had and I strongly encourage everyone to make it a food destination when visiting.

    Something big is already brewing in Africa. Africans in the diaspora and Africa Americans are moving back to the motherland taking along with them technical expertise, skills and capabilities to take up opportunities in Africa. The governments of African nations should link up with black owned businesses outside the continent to take up economic opportunities in Africa in mining, IT, Agriculture, Education, and Music & Entertainment, etc. The black community should partake in the wealth of the continent. It shouldn't just be left to the Chinese, Lebanese, Indians and Westerners.

    African Diaspora, if you want to reconnect back with Africa; don't be a stranger in your mother's land accept who you are by learning the culture, and traditions of whatever part of Africa you find yourself. Remember, you are not a stranger in your father's house so, do not treat yourself like one. The culture is who you are, it is your true self. We all children of African descent have one culture but differ in how we express our culture (that we call traditions). We your brothers and sisters back home in Africa would love to learn about the good costumes and traditions you have created in the diaspora that is aligned with our African culture.

    Life is all about taking chances,when Chinese decide to take a chance they go regardless and its why they are making it in Africa.If our people develop a mindset to kick away the fear and go get them ,then we will make it Big on mama Africa.

    I live in the West so I used to get very upset whenever I visit Africa and see their snail pace of doing things but I've now come to realize that the fast pace lifestyle in the West is what's causing all their problems. The impatience, greed, selfishness, recklessness, unrest, unwarranted health problems and the numerous stress. I've now come to realize that timing everything you do in this world is very stupid. It prevents you from fully enjoying what's the real life. This is why Africans enjoy life more than the West despite all the poverty. In life, you need enough time for your peace and tranquility, your security, your entertainment, your health and even your death.

      @oseitututawiah2109 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@taq1238 That's what you think. It's hard for you to understand because of where you grew up and the lifestyle you're used to. Quick business brings greed and greed brings pressure because you want to satisfy the greed all the time. For a Masai in Kenya or a San in Namibia, time is nothing, the only thing important to him is day and night. He has no pressure on him whatsoever. This is the difference between yourself and such people.

    Okay let me teach you how to say this the right way. First of all stop saying you need to bring to Africa what you learned in America. Now what you really mean is you need to bring to Africa what all of us ALL OF US....as a collective African descendants created in America not learned here ,because it's already ingrained in us as African people. I'll be glad when we can understand as a people who we really are and embrace it wholeheartedly, because the things that we are taking to Africa is already ingrained in our DNA. Just because you were born and raised in America and it's looked at as such a great country doesn't mean you should give credit to America and the parasitic way of doing things by consuming the knowledge from the descendants of slaves then the leaders taking the credit for it and then The descendants turn around and give America credit for what they brought to the table in the first place..,. which was the construction of the White House, library of Congress, the railroad, the best historical eateries throughout the United States, inventions up the wazeus, style of music, dancing everything that is America is African PERIOD!!! SO THAT EXPRESSION taking everything to Africa what we learn in the United States that expression need to die off QUICK, because it sounds foolish. Have they left us alone Africa would have advanced just like it's advancing now. Because we are an advanced people when it comes to knowledge ..period!. And I guess I'll get to taste his food before this year's up because 2022 is it for me. And being from Old School everything I said was out of love for my people my Brothers ✌🏿& 🖤

      Ultimately this country is trying to return to the 1950’s.
      The Republicans plan to remove pieces of the Civil Rights Act every time it comes up, so that in 30 years, Jim Crowe will be the status quo.
      If you don’t want to return to Africa that’s cool, but I feel like we need to worry about preventing the US from reverting into an Apartheid state so we don’t have to explain to the grand-kids why we didn’t think of them instead of worrying about what Africans were doing for us.
