Sharks don’t really care for people. Sometimes they nudge u or if in the case of a bite, it’s out of curiosity. But usually kids stay in shallow and adults. So sharks try and roam around the second sand bar in most cases.

I’d get a 9-10ft surf rod with 40lb braid brother for sure
