Right? Can’t imagine how it would feel to make it to wsm, then waiting for a year for it to be shown professionally and you are cut out so it can be compressed to way below 10 minutes
@@torringtonstonekeeper This person telling people like Shaw and Janashia to get strong.... I kinda get what you´re going for. But come one, you are in the qualifying rounds of WSM. You are strong enough to be shown to the public.
I like watching gabriel pena, but why represent MEXICO when u r living and breathing in texas usa!!!! I think the athlete must be living in the country they are representing!!!!!!
Because athletes are often given the chance to compete but only if they represent their birth country etc- plenty of top tier strongmen can represent USA - but not many from Mexico, Latvia etc. WSM want to have that “world” part too
Mitchell Hooper showing early on that he's the future of Strongman.
I'd say he's also the present, as he's the current reigning champion for the two biggest contests in the sport
@@WhistlingWhiteWolf He'd have to be to show that he's the future of strongman. Incredible rookie year.
So 2/3 of the car walk? It seems pretty insulting to the athletes who are out there competing to not even show their attempts.

Well that just means they have to get stronger if they want more tv time

@@bartvanlieshout3715 wsm never has shown a full comp, every attempt by every athlete never. I wish they would, that way it would be longer.
@@torringtonstonekeeper Exactly, more WSM is always better
Hooper is the fastest strongman under load I've ever seen with the possible exception of Matteusz Kieliskowski
