Born Feb 17, 1963 in Brooklyn. Moved to Wilmington, NC. Laney High School. Got cut from varsity. University of North Carolina. Third pick of the 1984 draft. We don't even know most of our relatives' lives the way we know MJ.
I'm so glad Charles Barkely bought this up. The documentary is like it's letting Reinsdorf "off the hook" Reinsdorf should get some blame too. Krause is being set up as the "Fall Guy" Reinsdorf just didn't want to pay Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman.
Charles Allen jr both Jerry's didn't want to pay scottie Phil or mj they both was bozos that's why the bulls are not winning now they want keep all that money for themselves it will be 100 years before they win again
Before the 1996-1997 season, MJ signed a one-year deal worth $30M. Jerry Reinsdorf told MJ “At some point, I’m gonna regret of what we just did.” That statement angered MJ.
MJ raised Generation X, the MTV Generation. From Stephen A (1967) to Max (1973). He's our Superman, our Batman, our Black Panther, our Darth Vader, our GREAT BAM-BI-NO, our G.O.A.T... 🐐
Grant. Paxson. Armstrong. Cartwright. Perdue. Hodges. Rodman. Kukoč. Harper. Kerr. Wennington. I bet most of us don't know more than 5 players on the 2009 Cavs without looking.
Every superhero has an origin story. We know what happened to Bruce Wayne's parents. We know what happened to Peter Parker's Uncle Ben. We know Michael Jordan's origin story. With great power comes great responsibility.
Pippen is so underrated. 6 titles and people still disrespect him. He should be celebrated like the Hall of Fame he is. Man, 6 titles is so easy to say but if you really think about it, so many players who only won 1 nba championship are celebrated more than Scottie.
Rodrigo Palo people call him a top 50 all time player, who underrated him? He should be criticized for not coming into the game. He deserves criticism but at the same time can be recognized at the top 50 maybe even top 25 player of all time.
Michael Jordan left on top in 1993. He left on top again with that 1998 shot. He's going to end his documentaries on top in 2020. MJ is the best closer we've ever seen. He knows how to finish on top with a blaze of glory...
Reinsdorf hired Krause and it appears that Reinsdorf was majority owner and did have the final say. I agree with Max. Reinsdorf is getting off easy and able to posthumously point the finger at Krause.
Malaki727 yeah, genius that his organization didn’t sniff the playoffs until after he was fired and his players went on to have productive careers away from his terrible coaches.
My only issue with The Last Dance is the highlights are shown randomly. It's the 1992-1993 season and they're showing a 1991 play. Other than that, amazing! Not one Sunday has it let me down. MJ's Star Wars & Bible...
Dean Smith. The shot in 1982. Kevin Loughery. Stan Albeck. Doug Collins. Phil Jackson. Bad Boys. 63 in Boston. The Shot. 69. Double-Nickel. The Flu Game. The Last Shot in Utah. 6-0. We know this MJ stuff like the alphabet.
The Last Dance is going to turn everybody into MJ savants / scholars. 🎓 We seem to know more about MJ's career than anybody else's including our personal favorites. If MJ was a topic on Jeopardy, we'd all dominate.
"Jackson said in an interview in today's issue of Newsweek magazine that he would not coach in the N.B.A. next season, DESPITE RECEIVING an OFFER from the BULLS, and Musberger confirmed that last night." - The New York Times, June 22, 1998. At the end of the day, its Phil Jackson who decided to quit after 9 years of coaching, therefore the breakup of the Bulls...
I would have done the same as well.....After the behavior of Jerry Krause saying that even if you win 82 games you will not coach the next year. And he kept antagonizing the players repeating this throughout the season. I do not blame Phil Jackson for refusing to return. It is only when they realized that they made a mistake is when they came back to offer him money.
It's such a shame the bulls didn't stay together to defend their title. They could have done something nobody had done since Russell. Win 4 rings in a row. It's scary if mj didn't retire they could have won 8 in a row & if they stayed together in 99 it could hsve Been 9. It's hard to believe the bulls wouldn't have gotten to the finals in 99 when the Ewing less Knicks as an 8th seed got to the finals. Something never been done.
When they talk about Krause and doing a rebuild after that season....do they remember why the owners locked out the players right after the 97/98 season? Wasn't it about structuring salaries after Michael was getting 63 million those last two seasons. And no one made that much money in a season really until recently again? So Reinsdorf and group prolly didn't want to bring back everyone at higher salaries. Phil Jackson was just going to be let go because of that. They weren't going to be competitive so let Phil go and coach a more veteran team was prolly the thought process.
Well, the salaries have been restructured and players got paid more so you don't make no sense. And nobody complained about Jordan's salary. He probably would have been paid more elsewhere.
If Jerry and the owner would of backed off and let them play while paying them good which would of motivated them to play even harder, I think they win 6 in a row or easily 5 rings
Krause def a villain, but he also brought in Phil, which is the one of the 2 main reasons why bulls won 6! Reinsdorf def bear a lot of the blame too for being cheap and did not want to pay mj too!
TruMusic89 interesting to know, but the system is partially responsible for their success. Phil managed personalities correctly. I wondered what happened to the knicks gm phil mismanaged everything! I also think maybe there is a chance Phil could forgive Krause, and come back to coaching after 98? Krause’s crazy 82 win still won’t hire Phil talk maybe just a stupid threat anyway?
James Sr. Deloris. Larry. Ronnie. Rosalyn. Juanita. Jeffrey. Marcus. Jasmine. Yvette. Ysabel. Victoria. Krause. Reinsdorf. "God disguised as Michael Jordan." LaBradford Smith. ⚾ #45. The Con Man Game. 👨🏻🎓
Taking advantage of the fans loyalty for prolly about 5 years while they rebuild and have a roster at a lower dollar amount meaning the owners make more money.
This is one of the worst decisions ever by a Owner or owners and GM. I can't fathom such a idiotic thing to do, it cost the organization big money, if you want to see what distruction pride can do to you....well this is the impidemy of the affects, the results of arrogance. If you play to win championships there's is no justification for this. Yes the Jerry's are the villains hands down. Of course I would say it in a different way, but I'll leave that for someone else to say.
Say what you want Krause built those teams Jordan should be grateful he couldn't have don't without him Krause drafted pippen and grant traded Oakljackson replaced Doug Collins with phil Jackson Toni kukoc Steve Kerr ron harper rodman ect put the pieces around Jordan to be successful Jordan owes Krause
I already respected Coach Jackson calming influence and leadership. Last Dance took it up another notch.
Born Feb 17, 1963 in Brooklyn. Moved to Wilmington, NC. Laney High School. Got cut from varsity. University of North Carolina. Third pick of the 1984 draft. We don't even know most of our relatives' lives the way we know MJ.

Reinsdorf also said he would trade all six Bulls rings for one Sox ring. What a POS.
Before the 1996-1997 season, MJ signed a one-year deal worth $30M. Jerry Reinsdorf told MJ “At some point, I’m gonna regret of what we just did.” That statement angered MJ.

Both Jerry and Jerry broke up a premature bulls dynasty
yup & hear the NBA League was happy about that too cause MJ Prime Ear with the Chicago Bulls was Destroying them
Imagine them staying in Bulls until 2000.. Remember, Artest joined the Bulls in 98. They would have a great guard in him to keep up with the West.
Great insight here from Michael about the owner Jerry
Jordan is the G.O.A.T🙌
Grant. Paxson. Armstrong. Cartwright. Perdue. Hodges. Rodman. Kukoč. Harper. Kerr. Wennington. I bet most of us don't know more than 5 players on the 2009 Cavs without looking.
Mo Williams, Zundrus I (I know I can't spell it), Daniel Gibson, JJ Hickson, Delonte West, Wally Z
Is there some rule that you have to call him Stephen A instead of just Stephen?
Good question.
steve mcdonald 🤣
Stephen a would be nothing without the A
It's like "A Pimp Named Slickback" you say the whole thing, every time
Listen to the moron open his mouth there your answer

Wizards
Wilbon….respect.
Reinsdorf hired Krause and it appears that Reinsdorf was majority owner and did have the final say. I agree with Max. Reinsdorf is getting off easy and able to posthumously point the finger at Krause.
Reinsdorf was majority owner of the Bulls Jordan’s whole career.
Jerry was the architect.
He built his empire.
6 rings
Destroyed it.
Pure chess move. Genius!!!!!
Malaki727 yeah, genius that his organization didn’t sniff the playoffs until after he was fired and his players went on to have productive careers away from his terrible coaches.

Reinsdorf had the power to fire Krause. He didn’t. He is partly to blame.
He's not partly to blame, he is to blame. When you make the final decision it's on you.
Most of the people who criticize MJ in the documentary are huge lebron fans and trying to use it to bolster LeBron over MJ.
Exactly
Jerry Kruase built that team and destroyed it. Period.
"Jackson said in an interview in today's issue of Newsweek magazine that he would not coach in the N.B.A. next season, DESPITE RECEIVING an OFFER from the BULLS, and Musberger confirmed that last night." - The New York Times, June 22, 1998. he continue paying Jordan his same salary from bulls to white sox, so how could he not have paid Pippen?
He did
Looks like Molly wearing a Virus dress
HeirRose1 🤣
She’s gotta go
that's sexy!
Looks pregnant
Thank you, Max. Reinsdorf has a good poker face doesn't he? Krause wasn't the final say.
anyone know why there is no interview with Luc Longley?
Evren Erkose there’s a few players that are not on the show.
Man I was paying more attention to the panorama behind Wilbs.. those cactuses are very prominent.
Krause was like an evil genius. Crumbled under his own greatest creation.
It's such a shame the bulls didn't stay together to defend their title. They could have done something nobody had done since Russell. Win 4 rings in a row. From this documentary alone I dislike jerry Krause but I also feel it’s not right to portray a man like this after he has passed.
While I may agree with you, his legacy is his legacy.
When they talk about Krause and doing a rebuild after that season....do they remember why the owners locked out the players right after the 97/98 season?

MJ was on a 1 years deal. Shaq got a big long term deal and Kevin Garnett got the biggest contract in NBA history after the lockout
Nobody:
Stephen A: EXCUSE ME!
i know ur watching this with ur legs crossed
If Jerry and the owner would of backed off and let them play while paying them good which would of motivated them to play even harder, I think they win 6 in a row or easily 5 rings
Did Wilbon just tell Krause to own it as a villain? The dude passed away
BiggestBullsFan no rule against updating his tombstone
Okay, I see I see😊
Battle for egos. Management vs employee.
lit
77th comment Molly looking good. 😌😌😍😘
jerry krause built a amazing team the everyone on that team treated him badly i feel sorry for him nowonder he wanted to break it up
Krause def a villain, but he also brought in Phil, which is the one of the 2 main reasons why bulls won 6!
Reinsdorf def bear a lot of the blame too for being cheap and did not want to pay mj too!

Jerry should fire Jerry krause before 99 season lockout
Wilbon was there. He knows the most of most. I'd put Sam Smith in there too.
Screw jerry. He was so bad against pippen. Pippen is the best
"He was so bad against pippen" That sentence makes no sense.
Roger Toledano i just mean that he was not good with pippen you know. He didn’t respect pippen so much that is what i’m trying to say
Jerry reinsdorf told Pippen not to sign this all on jerry krause
Wilborn wasnt in Chicago? Ask a Real Chicago reporter
Big Ed from 90 Day Fiance and Jerry Krause. Separated at birth ????
Then who owned the majority of the team back then?
Max seems like the 3rd banana
James Sr. Deloris. Larry. Ronnie. Rosalyn. Juanita. Jeffrey. Marcus. Jasmine. Yvette. Ysabel. Victoria. Krause. Reinsdorf. "God disguised as Michael Jordan." LaBradford Smith. ⚾ #45. The Con Man Game. 👨🏻🎓
What was Krause’s motive behind wanting to dismantle the winning Bulls🐃? They were raking in tons of money 💰 too. Beggars belief😤😏
Taking advantage of the fans loyalty for prolly about 5 years while they rebuild and have a roster at a lower dollar amount meaning the owners make more money.
He was trying to be one of the cool kids and he was just one of those annoying little assholes that thought he knew everything.
Molly looks pregnant to me...for real
Jerry Krause got exposed and destroyed in the last dance
Something about Wilbon's face on a thumbnail that makes me want to hide the video
Good journalist, just too old and not camera friendly
The Jerry's created and destroyed it .
Huh? "Mike Wilbon? *bull* !
Phil wanted Jerry's job. That's why Jerry wanted Phil gone. So in essence Phil broke up the team.
Just look at curry
