I knew Gary from the 80s and 90s he used to be a regular on the kickboxing circuit. He used to pop over to Huddersfield all the time, used to learn so much listening to his stories! Once went over to train in one of his applied karate classes in Liverpool. Great martial artist and a very interesting man. Carnt wait to watch the full podcast. All the best
I went to a seminar many years ago hosted by Mr Spiers, then trained with two of his people for a while.I remember Mr Spiers had a great sense of humour.
Hi Billy i trained under Gary for over 18 years i have a few interviews and a few seminars that i can send to you , Just give me shout if you want them ,, Cheers chris
Another quality clip. Love these pal, once these legends and characters die out very little material coming through to replace these or even surpass these icons 🫶💪😬
Hi Billy I am 76 now and grew up in Bootle and a guy that everyone knew who was hard and you didn't cross him was Joe Dorin known as Joe Beef, wander whether any of your followers knew him. All the best mate and happy new year.
Terry was my brother in law. Absolute gentleman. Trained with him for years and saw him many a time apply his trade on the doors .No drama just explosive and clinical. If that roundhouse kick came your way you were going to feel pain and plenty of it 😎😎😎😎
I met Gary 36 years ago in my brothers night club . He was wearing flip flops and would flip them off and kick you in the head lightly as his party piece. I was only 17 then and I was in awe of him everyone was to be fair . He purposely grew his toe nails long so they would slice your skin open . Dangerous man
Agreed, especially if Dennis mentioned his time spent at my Dads Gun Club in Liverpool during the early 1980,s teaching his First Generation CQB Skills to students , who I was fortunately one of 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Brian cockerill trained big ste seagal on knife fighting , and joe Montana on throwing the football , oh and before I forget he blew Geoff capes away in the deadlift
Being from down south and hearing vids like this I wonder what would have happened if he and Lenny McLeans paths would have crossed my point is there's always someone better and your man Garry spirres could have been the real governor or someone from Scotland that's a big title to give someone
