My favorite moment when I feed my savannah monitor is when I have to explain he ate all his food and its all gone. Every time feeding time ends my pants are in danger of being bitten or ripped. Or he'll bite the tongs lol. Sometimes I pick him up and hold him for a moment and rub his back to reassure him its going to be ok lol, he will get more food later. It usually helps him calm down.
That is one lizardy sweetheart. I haven't seen many of Simba's videos - still need to work my way through your "back catalog"; but he's adorable. As far as him wanting to eat the bowl: 2:34

One thought on why Simba loves the camera. Most electronics give off a very high pitch squeal that animals can hear but humans can not. Some years ago my dog hated my new desktop computer, come to find out the harddrive was bad from the factory and it hurt his ears. But the vet said some animals try to eat them because they sound like food trying to escape. So basically your camera sounds like prey. It is just a thought.
