OMG, This young lady just took an Iconic MJ song and turned into a Jazz masterpiece...I am totally dumbfounded. Are you kidding me Angelina?? What exactly are the bounds of your talent and music genius??? I do not know what else there is to say here. Thank you Angelina for bringing real music back to us all and for your unbelievable artistic creations. Music is alive and well in Angelina's hands like it has not been in decades. Dave, there is no way anyone can take credit for what she does to a song. Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm sure there are people who suggest things to her and I'm sure she is receptive to their ideas. But, in the final analysis there is no question, it's all her. Angelina is absolutely remarkable. She is definitely one of a kind.

AJ's vocal fry is incredible, and (intermixed with her breathiness) is becoming her signature style. Only AJ can sustain fry and pitch all the way through her runs. She even inhales on pitch -- seriously. This arrangement of "Billie Jean" is brilliant. This is the first performance where I can hear a strong Diana Krall influence. If only she could get together with Tony Bennett like Amy and Lady Gaga . . . .

I loved this jazzy version of Billie Jean & I liked your comments as well. One thing you mentioned is about the colors of her outfit & what is the significance. There may be more meaning to the color other than being complementary colors, but I just want to say the red & purple in the yellow room are the 2 colors of the other rooms where she sings. I don't think she leaves anything to chance. She's perfection.

The Barefoot Princess never disappoints. She is the reigning Queen of Jazz. With her song 7th Heaven she invented a new music genre ( Jazz Pop ) and with this song she has continued to develop her new sound. The Good Lord said he wanted someone to take music back to where it sounded best , so he decided to send an Angel down to Earth with the talent and drive to do so. He sent us our Barefoot Princess , the Angel with 1000 voices to entertain us all.

I love, Love, LOVE how the accompanist (Rob Christie? Angelina? Someone else?) played the piano line throughout in the style of Van Morrison’s “Moondance”. It fits perfectly with Angelina’s jazzy treatment of “Billie Jean”!
It's been Rob Christie ever since she signed with Republic. He's fantastic and I doubt see My reason for them to switch up what's working. They should credit the instrument players.

Incredible reaction to the Queen of Emotion! If you noticed her pitches or tones were different in the colored rooms, and the tone seemed to be the same as Michael's in the red room, paying homage to him, that's why the red pants were consistent. You noticed she didn't change the words either. That's my opinion only and God Bless!

Hey Dave, back with a theory about the video. I watched Angelina's recent tik-tok, she's singing '7Th Heaven' as she walks through the set for the Billie Jean video. You can clearly see a blue room and a green room which, for whatever reasons, didn't make the cut for the finished video. My best guess is that her clothing was to match all of the different coloured rooms. Red trousers = red room, purple top = purple room, green top = green room, which didn't make it into the video. I can only guess that she also wore a blue top and yellow top at some point, probably when filming in the blue and green rooms. And since these two rooms didn't make the finished video we didn't see it. Just my own theory, i could be wrong. Angelina's a very clever girl, i can't help but wonder if the tik-tok video walking through the set was done on purpose to show the other two rooms (blue and green), or am i just over thinking it, maybe she was just bored, lol.
I think MJ would be proud of this.
