    Well George, now you are just showing off….
    Really, great video. Excellent job on that! I do enjoy watching you make stuff out of wood. Again, you have talent!

    • @2ndchancegeorge
      @2ndchancegeorge  ปีที่แล้ว

      Tha kyou. Talent not sure. But if I think I can do something I'll give it a try. This actually worked out pretty well. I like doing stuff with wood. Just thankful it doesn't cost much but my time. And that's free...lol. most of the time. I do Appriciate your support as always. Thankyou.

    I'll say it's unique , you mounted the blade in the handles perfectly backwards, skinny end to front fat end to back. Even so the scales came out great. You've got way more skill and patience than I. I'll get one of these someday, with wood handles. The handles will be too dark and that'll bug me until I sand and restain them. Then the grain won't be so nice and that'll bug me. Then I'll be referring back to this vid!

      @2ndchancegeorge  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ahhhh. You noticed that. The first to do so. I preferred the thick back. It felt better. Only thing is will the thinner hold. Patience....thus is how I teach myself...lol. stay safe my friend.

      The blades are very cool. I am not a fan of the plastic handle, but putting a wood handle on makes a big difference. It's a fun project. You wont be dissapointed. Thanks forvwatching and be safe out there.

    Use a nylon Ferrell or get a small plastic tube and cut a bumper to go around the brass Ferrell

    Hey George. The screws are "Chicago screws" there are also "Corby bolts" and sometimes they're called "sex bolts" for the male and female parts and i guess because they screw together 😂

    Wouldn’t it be better to move the Ferrell and screw on opposite end from the stopper and move it about 1/8” further towards end of scale?

    • @2ndchancegeorge
      @2ndchancegeorge  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ahh, what I actually did was switch the s ales around. If you look at the original knife you will see the blade is on the rounded side. Just to be different...lol. thanks for watching and commenting. Always appreciated.
