I have made several prints using a tanning bed for exposure. Exposure times from 1 minute 30 to 2 minutes give reasonable results. The prints lack some contrast. What factors can I optimize to give the print higher contrast? I am using high % cotton paper and apply the negative when the SolarFast is just about dry but still I see some shimmer, indicating the fluid hasn't dried completely. I use are non UV absorbing glass plate to press the negative and paper.

One of the functions is to print an image tiled onto multiple small sheets, so even if you don't have a wide format printer and large sheets of film, you can create massive negatives by piecing together multiple small sheets.
When it comes the part of washing the paper after the exhibition, I do everything that needs to be done; I put the paper in hot water and move the latrine, and I have also put a little detergent on it for 10 minutes and more, but when I take it out to dry it continues to be exposed. I do not know what I'm doing wrong 😔 Can anybody help me pls?
Usually this just means you need a longer soak before drying. Let your print sit in the wash bath for as long as you can get away with. The undeveloped dye will continue to leech out of the paper the longer you soak. Also, make sure not to hang your print to dry in sunlight. Best not to expose the finished print to sunlight until after it is fully dry.
The first print you made in this video looked like it required a large transparency film. Where did you get yours done? My desktop printer only prints 8 by 11 or so.

A longer exposure will probably give you deeper color development. Just make sure you negative is nice a opaque so you get good contrast in the print.
I don't have the wash just a bottle of the dye. Can I make these without using the wash and just rinse it in water?
Yes, rinsing in hot water should be fine. Just rinse a little longer. That said, the wash really does help keep the white areas white!

Would this work on a wall for a big mural?
Yes, but cyanotype might work better than SolarFast for a mural, because the rising process is mush less intensive. That would be awesome!

May I ask, is solarfast wash totally necessary? Asking as somebody who doesn’t mind imperfections.
Not totally necessary. Using hot water is more critical. A regular detergent will work okay in a pinch!

Yes, the thicker the glass the longer your exposure will probably have to be. Also, make sure it isn't UV-blocking museum glass!
Would it work with an image projected from a projector?
SolarFast requires quite a bit of UV energy to develop deep colors. A projector probably isn't intense enough to make a decent exposure.
