    1. Challenge is no longer a virtue.
    2. Patience is a thing of the past.
    3. Skill is secondary to gear.
    4. Failure is not an option.
    5. Group play is a thing of the past.
    6. Risk is a four-letter word.
    7. Homogenization is the norm.
    8. Creativity is stifled.
    9. The game world is a theme park but don't hold hands.
    10. Cooperation and collaboration are seen as relics of a bygone era.
    11. Most people think the game is a job.
    12. Apparently the developers are the enemy.
    13. The game is disposable.
    This is what has become of MMORPG players, and the armchair developers.

      Game looks still promising but ... there is a very small person inside my head who would also like to see AoC turning into 'No Mans Sky - 2.0'.

      @@reburoxHonestly I don’t see AoC coming out ever and if it does it would be more akin to Star Citizen, endless early accesses that will milk its fan base till it falls into obscurity. But we can hope it’s good

      @@fabuloushetero1228 yeah a lot of 'Kickstarter' Mmorpgs have failed or turned into a scam like elysia or elysium and other have released just to wither away like shroud of the avatar or crowfall (crowfall actually shutdown).
      So AoC would be the first one failing.....
      However something interesting regarding MMORPG development is that developers share the whole process of creating a game like Phantasy pixel castle or a smaller company named unleashed gaming.
      So I don't mind if Games take forever since watching the progression and listen to Devs talk about something is fine to me while I still play my 10 year old games

    I get it - WoW and other MMORPG can be overwhelming and grindy. Yes, just pick a few things to focus and reach each one on your own way. I do play PvP for fun and also if you join a community guild (no pvp guilds anymore) - they will help you reach goals if you speak up. They also do 'rival' world pvp. Also you can merc to play opposite faction.

      I still go for transmog farming. I am not sure why but farming specific items in games is still fun to me. And since the war within looks like an alt expansion I will check out season 1 but that will most likely be my only season in that expansion.

    I love the humour of this channel man. Keep it up. But there is a issue every live service game might run into.Content Bloat.Recent mmorpgs getting so long to developt not just because of graphics and polishing also they had to decide do they gonna satisfy old generation of gamers of new generations.Are we gonna make our game pretty slow phase ,challenging,social or we gonna satisfy speedrunners,solo players and casual gamers.No wonder Lol mmorpg head developers completely scrapt to project.They have one chance otherwise they'll join to others mmorpgs in the graveyard.The thing I like about WoW community they have spines to stand againts decisions of Blizzard and gather around for make demands.While Gw 2 community have one rule "Love or Leave".

      I guess the issue with gw2 is the type of content you find on the internet it is straight up just guide content.
      Tier list = guide
      zero to hero = guide
      News = guide
      Guide = guide
      That isn't bad by default I mean to an certain extend a constant flow of guide content makes a game feel alive but it also makes a game feel very hollow especially if we are talking about a MMORPG. Talking about Gw2 feels like talking about the Witcher 3 ... if that makes sense.

      @@reburox Yeap almost every Gw 2 content creators done that guides.Mukluk also made raid and strikes guides.Its a sad state we thinking that repetitive metas can keep player attention.Some might bit when I do silverwaste event again and again for 1 week and Im bored so much I take a break from game 1 year.Gold in Gw 2 only valuable if you are are into gem store or legendary collecting.Also veteran Gw 2 players knows people in this game didnt become rich by metas.They become rich by alt accounts.

      @Joe-no7gs yeah ... same I wonder why. So I rerolled on a PvP server and there is definitely more going on and like WoWFtw8 said the level boost is actually quite fast. However I am not sure if I keep going since That MoP thingy is coming + cataclysm classic + new retail season.
      And That MoP event sounds more interesting since the progression goes into my 'main' account.

    Stop complaining, you have to understand that the point of gaming is to solve problems or overcome challenges, and if you get everything you want granted, there will be no reason to play it.
    Example 1: I love WoW BGs, and I complained about how hard it was to gear up while playing it hard and having fun. Now gearing up is super easy, and GUESS WHAT? I DON`T PLAY IT ANYMORE because it feels meaningless now.
    Example 2: I complained about the vertical progression and GUESS WHAT? This season, I maxed out 2 characters, then abandoned them to start over and over again with 10 other alts.

    • @reburox
      @reburox  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Question is why is it always wrong no matter what.
      So there is something else I haven't really talked about in this video which is based on solo play. In wrath classic I had fun up until my work schedule changed and I was no longer able to raid with my guild which meant I had to go for solo play and pug groups.
      2 weeks later I quit.
      Maybe the hardfocus on solo play is making MMOs unfun I can easily level a shit ton alts I can raid without the need to join a guild and the idea of having a main is non existent anymore.
      So I guess ..maybe I am wrong.. but the idea of making mmorpgs a single player experience made them more appealing to a broader audience but also killed the drive of playing mmos.
      In regards of 'stop complaining'.
      That is basically what made Gw2 feel so dead or hollow you have exclusively Guide content on youtube and people try to avoid talking negatively about gw2 and if you never heard of Gw2 thats the reason why Gw2 is driving in neutral for years now on what a surprise it did not went far.
      TL;DR if people would stop complaining about WoW the game would slowly wither away like gw2 did.
