After working for 3 different CEOs, I can confirm she has the right mentality to take care of employees first and will have great success. Where most businesses fail is by putting the client first above all else and forgetting the people who made the company successful. I hope she continues this!
Exactly, I was just watching another YT video where a CEO of a public company said if you just take care of your people as well as your customers, it's going to reflect in the company's success. And the shareholders will follow, no need to try to convince them to invest. Focus on the people and culture first!
Exactly, I get a sense that you had a reputable experience line. I’m 18, haven’t worked at too many places, it’s all been retail and I used to think I had no skills. But it was the perspective I had I did learn a lot I learned customer service skills, how to talk to people, how people will react when mad/frustrated, time management, working with others, working with others who don’t put in a good amount of effort. I agree with you, the first green flag I saw was when she said she paid payroll a lot before ever paying a dime to herself
The cover image said $3m by 32. Leaving this message here to let viewers know that if you’re 22, 32, 42 or 52 and you don’t have a million dollar business (yet), YOU are not late. You don’t need to feel bad about yourself. You are on time for your life. Don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s.
Thank you! I am 32 right now and I feel lost ever since my mom sold her restaurant about three months ago and I’ve been unemployed since then . I feel like a moment in my life that I am failing while my friends are becoming successful. They keep saying don’t worry it’s coming for you! Thank you
Am 58 retiring next year but the thought of retirement gives me weakness. My apologies to everyone who have retired and filing social security during this time after putting in all those years of work just to lose everything to a problem you never imagined to happen. It’s so difficult for people who are retired and have no savings or loved ones to fall back on.
True, It has never been easier to understand how to build your money after retirement than it is right now with the inflation, when you may study and experience a completely variegated market passively by employing a successful portfolio-advisor. The impacts of the U.S. dollar's gain or fall on investments, in my opinion, are complex.
It was nice to watch and listen to her journey of growth. We are in a similar boat so it was nice to see a different perspective. We are a PM company in FL with a little over 100 doors including single family homes and multifamily units. My husband and I own properties and a commercial property. Having a warehouse would be beneficial for us as well. We too have a lot of furniture, pictures, bikes, and supplies we have to store. It was great seeing someone else grinding in the business we are in. My husband wants to write a book about property management. We all have our fair share of experiences and stories to tell :)
Loved this video! I am 28 and business owner and I’ve struggled with isolation and self doubt as well. But finding this video at 222k views and the comment likes are currently at 111, I’m definitely feeling more enlightenment! Thanks for sharing your story and best wishes on your business!
To go from $200k in sales to almost $2M is incredible 👏🏼 I also love hearing the mentality when it comes to her staff/team. I can foresee her business continuing to grow in 2024!
At the very least, I now grasp the concept of leverage. Creating wealth and financial freedom isn't as tough as many people believe. Building wealth and remaining financially stable indefinitely is a lot easier with the appropriate information. Participating in financial programs and products is the only true approach to make a high income and remain affluent indefinitely.
The first step to wealth creation, is figuring out your goals and risk tolerance - either on your own or with the help of a financial advisor. If you can get the facts about savings and investing with a well detailed plan, you should be able to gain financial security over the years and enjoy the benefits of managing your income.
That's great, your financial advisor must be really good, I have seen testimonies of people using the help of financial advisors in making them more financially stable. I just discovered his exceptional resume when I made a Googled search of his names. I consider it a blessing that I discover this comment area!
That is why I work with John Desmond Heppolette, who introduced me to a better Financial community, a verified agency where I learned how money works and how to create it, as well as free books, courses, and daily lectures. You also get to meet new people, which was the best decision I ever made.
Yeah for real, that guy is one asset manager that gives the breakdown of everything on how things are done, joining an effective financial community can be 100% beneficial when joined properly that's all I can say out of experience..
Wow, a $3 million dollar business and she started with no experience. Take note employers. So many candidates are overlooked for jobs because they don't have the perfect resume or experience, and employers are too lazy to train. This woman learned how to do property management by herself. She had a drive to support herself and family and work the way she wanted to. If she applied to become a property manager through a job, she probably wouldn't have gotten it due to lack of experience. This was extremely inspirational for me as I'm really diving into my freelance writing career out of necessity in this terrible job market and also because employers just want candidates who can hit the ground running. They don't care to train or invest in employees anymore. Owning a business is extremely hard, and it's nice to just be a W-2 worker, but it's harder than it's ever been before in this job market. The hiring process is painfully slow and you're competing with tens and sometimes hundreds of candidates for low paying jobs. We have to make our own streams of income because we definitely can't depend on this current job climate.

I clicked this video because it’s full circle for me. I was thinking of having a property mgt company because my property manager and landlord are not the best.
Last year I was working full time, budgeting groceries, unable to afford date nights, and missing time with my kids. Now I learned how to make money online. Now am a SAHM, homeschooling, and making profits every week.

Thank you for making the work environment so friendly and taking your responsibility seriously and completing the work gracefully! You deserve so much.
This was very interesting and I'm extremely impressed with her boldness and maturity. I'm in Real Estate have a few boutique furnished rental properties both in CA and Mexico and was just joking with a family member that I wanted to build a warehouse. It might look like a store but really it was going to be storage for me!! ;) There are a lot of ups and downs in this business. Just got back from a very unglamorous 3 weeks cleaning up after some water damage and lots of maintenance at one of the properties. Sometimes the boss works the hardest, that's for sure, but I still find it very rewarding!
-_- She some how magically gets 120 rental properties, including six commercial inns and two wedding venues in 3 years with zero financial aid??? LOL so obvious she came from money. You don't scale at this level without some serious financial help from someone.
Goodness gracious!!! What an amazing and motivating story. She is awesome. A heck of a doer, builder and dreamer. The start, the building, the low points, the highs and management of it all. Good episode.
I have no issue with people turning Beach houses and remote locations into rentals. I hate when people turn suburban neighborhoods into STR hells. Kudos to her
Very inspirational. Began my real estate journey 6 years ago and its been very good to me so far. Hoping to reach 10k in monthly income some day. At 3k currently
Please write the book! There is no real information on how to start or do this. I have two properties and I want to expand but I feel stuck and scared on what to do next! We need that book Sis 🙏🏼🤗💕
the business generated 3 million.. which means as the owner she did. its prolly an llc or scorp....if which earnings are reported on the indy tax return. even if she was a corp.. this lady's biz generated 3 mil.. her net worth.., once u include her home.. is worth more than that...❤

What an inspiring story! Kudos to CNBC for this great feature. I previously objectively critiqued the site for focusing mostly on content creators but credit should be given when it's due. More stories like this please.
I’d buy the book 💯! Loved this one, one of my favorites especially because of her personality: down to earth, focused, so much grit, and giving us transparency about all the peaks, valleys, and everything in between at all angles from pure start up phase to scaling phase. Very motivating to me as a fellow millennial entrepreneur 💪🏽 I wish everyone who’s part of the Be Still family much success and continued prosperity-I’ll definitely be looking their properties up for a vacation stay in the future 🎉
Finding a property manager for your short term rental can be challenging. Thats why we offer a 5 star guarantee revenue model. If anyone leaves a review less than 5 stars, we do not get paid.
Thanks MYSTICFLIP! You put our nonprofit organization in a whole new ballgame. We've been struggling to get capital and you came through getting us a grants. Our organization have extremely excel by now thanks for getting us funded.
Oh man, so this is one of the $400 cleaning fee(even if you clean the place spotless) people helping to support an AirBNB industry that played a big role in making real estate unaffordable, what a sweet story.
@@KevinBurns86 Went to their site, one random house was 'only' a $125 cleaning fee plus about $200 in other fees, but you still had to clean up as well. I'll take a hotel lol. I mean good for her for making money, but the bulk of her money is from those annoying fees that will hopefully help ruin AirBNB and all those investors one day, then maybe Gen Z can actually afford a house to buy.
@@TheBruceKeller You know, I had not thought that. This makes a lot of sense now. The problems is, supply and demand. People keep renting places that have high fees, because the pictures and reviews look nice. As soon as people get fed up with it, and go back to hotels or rent cheaper air bnbs. Then we may see this company go under. But right now, people are voting with their wallets, and they want what this woman is selling.
I love it! This is major. I manage my few Airbnbs and had to bring on a co-host, that doubles as my go to maintenance guy and it's alot of work! Congrats on creating such a successful business
she is competing with airb&b at 17% and charging MORE than they are?? or this is in addition to the air b&b17 for a total of almost 40%??? i dont get it
Kudos to you & your family & Team!!!! I would read that book!!!!😊 It looks like such fun & hard work. Hospitality and the Service industry is so rewarding. Next time I am in VA, we will have to visit one of your properties, and maybe we will get to meet you! I would love to dive into work like this and build something for myself and my family.
📌 *Nice video, love how you take your time to educate your viewers. You gave me the mindset to invest my savings now I have made profits over $120k Right now and still making more , I am enjoying a good life with what I made investing. Indeed ‚building a Portfolio income (investing) through a licensed investment adviser is one out of many ways to earn passive income.*
*I got Angela Mae Mcclain recommendations on ABC News in December 2022 and started following her lead and made $23,450 in two week. Lost my job in April 2022 and right now I'm back on top again and I always win with her guidance.*
I strongly agree with you mate. Investment is the key to sustaining our financial longevity, and not just any investment but an investment with guaranteed return.
Ok, they sold their home then started the farm house from their neighbor, how many properties are they managing and where did they come from? Is it like a bed and breakfast?
I’ve been in property management since 1988. I’ve done all facets of property and commercial management. I’ve owned my own management company however, I don’t even know where to start when it comes to short term rentals. I even have extensive experience in designing model homes that were anywhere from 6 to 10,000 ft.². I’ve always been very successful in this industry and I’m very interested in learning and doing something different but, I just don’t know where to start.
Seems like your biggest issue is self doubt and the misguided drive to over plan. You have more than enough experience. Trust yourself and take the leap! Rooting for you, stranger
A side hustle is a job, or a gig etc. If the video was titled "passive income stream rakes in 3 million a year". Then that would be dumb. This lady had a side hustle and made it into a full time business.
Excellent video! She’s doing an incredible job managing the emotional challenges stretching to adapt to growth as an entrepreneur in full scaling mode and in her business skills to manage the daily activities and employees. The emotional and mental growth adaptation is what slows so many entrepreneurs down the most… glad to see she’s challenged but moving forward and upward regardless of the adaptation process and not sabotaging herself like so many do. Congrats!!! Excited for you! ❤️🔥
I wish she explained how she started the business more so than how to keep the money side of it functioning after all the hard work was already done. This is probably the worst quality in these exact videos.
.... and she and her husband both kept their full time jobs. she did not go full time in the biz until she matched her full time job salary...her husband quit his job later..and they obviously reinvested profits.
She told you exactly how she did it with her neighbour’s place lol. All you have to do is find someone with no time and list the property for them and offer the ability to furnish. She had a great business model
I feel like she said she markets all the properties on her website herself… they have booking software on her website, so I’m not sure if they use airbnb 🤷🏻♀️
Very good Ideas. Property Managment for Real Estate Funds is a good gig also. If company solely focuses on Real Estate Fund Services for Real Estate Funds
She said in the video that they also offer other services- staging, remodeling, landscaping, plus the hospitality management of the day to day guests. My guess is the 20% is to manage the guests (check ins, concierge services, meals, housekeeping, purchasing, marketing, accounting, etc) and the additional fees are for the actual asset management listed above. I’m not sure if she offers full service where she would add additional fees to manage all capital improvements, taxes, and insurance on the property to make it fully hands off for the owners.
depending on how she has prepared her success could be wiped away with a historic downturn, liquidity crisis, housing crash 8-15% unemployment. Alot of her success came during a artifical bubble made by the federal goverment during a pandemic not seen in 100 years
I am getting my real estate license here in the twin cities and a network full of properties. Let me know if you like to expand to Mn... i am thinking about doing this as well!😊
Short term rental property management so think airbnbs. She (or an employee) is the person you contact when trying to book a space. If you have any maintenance issues with the property you contact her ss well and from the looks of things she also sets up and furnishings. So big investor guy says I wanna get a property and rent it out but I’m not gonna do the legwork for the day to day running so hires her company to do that for him. He pays for whatever work needs to be done and gets 80% profit and she gets 20%

I wish everyone who’s part of the Be Still family much success and continued prosperity-I’ll definitely be looking their properties up for a vacation stay in the future 🎉
Finding a property manager for your short term rental can be challenging. Thats why we offer a 5 star guarantee revenue model. If anyone leaves a review less than 5 stars, we do not get paid.
She is connected > Without being connected to the right people > it's almost impossible to make the same money!
That’s why networking is the number one factor. You HAVE to network
Very inspiring! It's never to late. If you're here you have a purpose to fullfill and dreams to keep working towards.
Good for her, I love stories like this.
What's the thing that she writes on, that's below the iMac? I need that in my life/
Thanks MYSTICFLIP! You put our nonprofit organization in a whole new ballgame. We've been struggling to get capital and you came through getting us a grants. Our organization have extremely excel by now thanks for getting us funded.
congrats on your achievement
I'm currently managing 15 short term rental houses in Penang, Malaysia. I can see myself like her in future :-)
Oh man, so this is one of the $400 cleaning fee(even if you clean the place spotless) people helping to support an AirBNB industry that played a big role in making real estate unaffordable, what a sweet story.
You don't know that. It's a great story of someone with ambition and guts.
Yup
@@TheBruceKeller You know, I had not thought that. This makes a lot of sense now. The problems is, supply and demand. People keep renting places that have high fees, because the pictures and reviews look nice. As soon as people get fed up with it, and go back to hotels or rent cheaper air bnbs. Then we may see this company go under. But right now, people are voting with their wallets, and they want what this woman is selling.
@@Marthastewart209. AirBNB bookings are already down 50% in a lot of areas. The trend is already starting.
I love it! This is major. I manage my few Airbnbs and had to bring on a co-host, that doubles as my go to maintenance guy and it's alot of work! Congrats on creating such a successful business
she is competing with airb&b at 17% and charging MORE than they are?? or this is in addition to the air b&b17 for a total of almost 40%??? i dont get it
Airbnb charges 17% plus you have to take care of it yourself, furnish it, manage it, not the same thing.
Why are all these bots talking about Mysticflip?
Kudos to you & your family & Team!!!! I would read that book!!!!😊
It looks like such fun & hard work. Hospitality and the Service industry is so rewarding. Next time I am in VA, we will have to visit one of your properties, and maybe we will get to meet you! I would love to dive into work like this and build something for myself and my family.
Wow Afton, VA, its an act of God to be able to get internet there. I live in Central Virginia, you are lucky if you can get your hotspot to work.
@anastasiamolly7724😂
@richardtermine2454 how did it go?
Ok, they sold their home then started the farm house from their neighbor, how many properties are they managing and where did they come from? Is it like a bed and breakfast?
Don't count on any good questions to be answered with these self-promoting and narcissistic CNBC segments. Lol
@@hubertcumberdale2651 you thought “lol” would make your comment more relevant?
@@madgemackles4337 clearly, you don't want your questions answered if you wanna act like an azz
My goodness this lady is very motivating. Well done her🎉
I wonder what are her thoughts are on the future of STR since the industry seems to be drying up as people go back to hotels
STR isn’t drying up… you read too many doomer headlines
Great ideas make Great people and they make the world Great place to live. congratulations
Cool story ... Brilliant and motivated 👍
Congrats mama .. your definitely doing it up ..
I’m so proud of her ❤
Absolutely great story of Follow your heart and you shall succeed Thanks for sharing God bless
Why do they keep CALLING JOBS , a side hustle.. it's called a SECOND JOB, THIRD JOB.. You ain't hustling nobody , it's another JOB 🤔
that's true... when you have a business you have to save the money to pay the employees first
Thanks for sharing your story!
Enjoy CNBC. Let's turn more side hustles into some good businesses.
I wish she explained how she started the business more so than how to keep the money side of it functioning after all the hard work was already done. This is probably the worst quality in these exact videos.
She did she started with her neighbors barn and 2k
.... and she and her husband both kept their full time jobs. she did not go full time in the biz until she matched her full time job salary...her husband quit his job later..and they obviously reinvested profits.
She told you exactly how she did it with her neighbour’s place lol. All you have to do is find someone with no time and list the property for them and offer the ability to furnish. She had a great business model
Husband leveled up to final form of dad, lawn care full time.
I will buy your book!
Do they take 20% of all listings on top of the already existing platform fees from airbnb?
I feel like she said she markets all the properties on her website herself… they have booking software on her website, so I’m not sure if they use airbnb 🤷🏻♀️
I’m almost 100% sure in California you need your brokers license to be a property manager.
Amazing!
Give her that reality show!
Very good Ideas. Property Managment for Real Estate Funds is a good gig also. If company solely focuses on Real Estate Fund Services for Real Estate Funds
awesome video!
These spams are out of control.
?
Wouuu! Congratulations! This is amazing. I love your grit and the way you think! Believing in your goals is important. Congrats!!
So is the 3 million total sales generated? Or the 20% cut she gets from the bookings?
She said in the video that they also offer other services- staging, remodeling, landscaping, plus the hospitality management of the day to day guests. My guess is the 20% is to manage the guests (check ins, concierge services, meals, housekeeping, purchasing, marketing, accounting, etc) and the additional fees are for the actual asset management listed above. I’m not sure if she offers full service where she would add additional fees to manage all capital improvements, taxes, and insurance on the property to make it fully hands off for the owners.
3m in sales
I would LOVE to hear more about how to is works. Does she have a TH-cam channel? X
Hard work pays off. Nice.
Her bravery is shown in so many way.
SO BRAVE, SO BRAVE. 🥲🥳
Jamie, you go girl! I'm impress with Family values, growth & work ethic. One more thing how you value your employees too!
One day... its doable🙌🏼its possible🙏🏻
depending on how she has prepared her success could be wiped away with a historic downturn, liquidity crisis, housing crash 8-15% unemployment. Alot of her success came during a artifical bubble made by the federal goverment during a pandemic not seen in 100 years
This is so inspiring. I wish her the best ❤
I am happy for you. You did a good job you earned it also.
So inspiring and awesome video.
The greatness of investing is when you invest in a reliable source of income
I am getting my real estate license here in the twin cities and a network full of properties. Let me know if you like to expand to Mn... i am thinking about doing this as well!😊
Good commercial, now we should all drop our jobs and go all into Real Estate? Nice for her that the Business worked out.
She doesn’t own the properties she manages them
I would so buy that book!!
Of course you would lol.
What an inspiration! Love her business philosophy and outlook
Can someone explain what the business is? I don’t get it
Short term rental property management so think airbnbs. He pays for whatever work needs to be done and gets 80% profit and she gets 20%
something that will suffer greatly in the coming recession
@@joelwillis2043She is very smart and has a 9-5 to fall back on. Other people should jump on this in cities where it is cheaper to live in
What a great success story! It's so satisfying to see Jamie, one of our customers, be able to scale her business so quickly using the eviivo Suite property management system.
Quality content from something we should see more of from everyday ppl making money off real estate.
Good to know that not everyone's making their money on TikTok...
