It should not be bitter. There are different kinds of aloe vera. Some are really toxic and should not be consumed. Please don't consume if it is bitter

As the poster said if you don't that yellow crap and the ribs are very very bitter and not great to eat or drink m I've heard they still gave nutrients and stuff but bleh
