Used to see this kind of stuff in the road back in the 60s. Most at shows now. Lots of Pan heads back then too. This is very nice.

Definitely makes a statement. I've ridden a couple and they are not for me. It's the rake and close bars that make it a little less than stable. The foot clutch and all that are OK, I can make that work but those bars are just a bit too narrow for my liking. Good on ya for being this brave.

What kind of clutch set up is that. You can engage it and leave it engaged?

    • @rezi-8691

It’s rocker clutch and it has a locking mechanism. It’s actually a disk made of a brake pad and it’s spring loaded. Grip of the disk is bigger than spring force of the clutch so the rocker sticks in any position. It’s easy and safe to operate.

At 1:28 you engage the foot clutch and shift into first... but then you immediately take your foot off the clutch without even moving forward, but the bike didn’t stall out... why not? If clutch is released in gear and no throttle is given the engine should die out. Am I missing something here? I did see where right after you took your foot off the clutch you quickly put your foot back on the peg/clutch, or whatever it is you’re pretending to do. But all I’m trying to say is that judging from the jockey shift clearly visible is that you are also operating a foot clutch. And after backing the bike out of the parking spot, you engaged the foot clutch and shifted into first, then took foot off clutch and put on ground way before you were moving forward at all, so therefore the bike should of stalled out and it didn’t. In fact, it makes absolutely no sense at all quite frankly, that while in first gear and not moving, and foot off the clutch, that the bike did not die right away. So what’s the deal here?

Hi Steven. Thanks for careful watching. The clutch is a locking type of thing. It’s not a suicide clutch. Its safe and easy😊

@@rezi-8691 lol ooooh okay makes total sense now. I’ll be honest I didn’t know they made a locking foot clutch like that. That’s awesome though, and good too know. That might be what I look into while I learn the jockey shift myself.

@@burner__account I wouldn’t personally ride a pure suicide clutch. This one comfortable and I mostly ride in town. There is a disk made of cars brake pad and a strong spring pushing it to the frame unit. Grip of the disk in bigger than the sprig load of the clutch. It costs barely nothing to build but you have to do it by yourself since they are not available to buy.

@@rezi-8691 I gotcha, that makes sense. Pretty clever of you. I figured it was something custom made because of the fact I’ve never seen or heard of that before. I’ve also never heard of anyone else making that before either. You should think about patenting it, and selling the idea to some manufacturer. I’d imagine there is a huge market for all the people that want a jockey shift and foot clutch setup without the dangers of having a true “suicide clutch”, Just like yourself and I do. Could be a million dollar idea you have there. Thanks for explaining it out to me I appreciate it. Long story short I knew I wasn’t imagining things, and something just wasn’t making sense when I watched the first part of that video. Lol
