I remember that night... it was dark outside and I was sitting cozy in my room playing this awesome game for the first time. After the game ended, this piano piece started to play. At that moment I got a little dream and it was to learn to play the piano. I was deeply impressed by such ending of the game. And now, after some years that little dream has come true... :-)
This game is released in 1999 and even after so many years I still play it now and then. It reminds me of those days when I was just a silly little guy with no worries... :-) The sound of the rain in the background makes this piece even more melancholic.
A big thanks to the user TheBigLT for sending me the cutscenes from the game!
- Started to play the piano in April 2008.
- The digital piano: Yamaha DGX-620.
- Recording: The headphones output of the piano is connected to the Line-in of the computer (no midi used). "Adobe Audition" is used for the sound recording and "Adobe Premiere Pro" for the audio/video editing.
- Sound card: Creative SB X-Fi.

I had to come back to this, all these years later, once I finished the RE3 remake. Hearing the End Theme again struck me with memories of this edit. Emotions are running high watching this over again!
I dedicated this song to the people of Raccoon City, the resident evil fans (doesn't matter 5-6,Revelations 1-2), classic resident evil games, Chris, Jill, Barry, Wesker, Enrico, Brad, Rebecca, Richard, Claire, Leon, Sherry, Annette, William, Hunk, Marvin, Ada, Carlos, Mikhail, Piers, and all of the resident evil characters.

The new show on Netflix is supposed to take place around now (I think) according to “leaks.” I hope that by distancing themselves from the timeline established by both trilogies and 7+, the shows creators have avoided inevitable disappointment from fans had they tried to set it in 1998, or during any other game. Now all they have to do is make it good.

Aww man! You've played that beautifully. I remember I played that game some 13 times, enduring tough controls, graphics, death experience, just to unlock some bonus content (pictures, if I remember well), and because I had enough free time and a PC that couldn't play any modern games at that time. I remember how soothing this melody was, and like you had a little dream about learning piano. Today, that is after some 7 years, I need to make things happen. Wish me luck!
Man these unlockables were just lmao! Had to finish game each time just to unlock new picture with story of another character each time for a total of 8 freaking times! Haha Had to complete it once for some key, with which you can access Boutique on one of the streets to change clothing in the next playthrough haha...and had to play through some annoying (yet somewhat fun) mini-mode, where you would earn money everytime in the end, with which you you would then buy secret weapons with unlimited ammo for main campaign! Oh and did i mention that you have to do all of that with limited time, using healing items limited number of times and save your game as less times as possible?! Yup! Lol This game was real bollocks on rewards man i tell you!
I also remember Nemesis dropping items each time you knock hiss ass out on Hard Mode for a total of 8 times! First two drops were parts, which you could combine to assemble new handgun, fourth and fifth drops were parts to assemble new Shotgun and the last one was an infinite ammo kit, that you could use on ONE weapon of your choice to make its ammo infinite! (I always chose Magnum haha!)

even though the remake doesn’t even compare to the original, still is a really good game and i enjoyed the fact that actually this song can be beat and i was crying so badly, resident evil 3 will be my favorite game until the end of time
I tend to get teary eye'd when I here this song play at the ending of the game along with the broadcaster saying Raccoon City was nuked off the map, I guess I feel sorry for the reaming survivors that were still alive trying to escape Raccoon City and they were all burned alive by nuclear fire
