Unfortunately, Fortnite won't run on the Steam Deck unless you install Windows. Epic has unfortunately chosen to not enable their anti-cheat for linux, effectively locking out people from playing Fortnite on the Steam Deck. As for the emulated games, Nintendo has been issuing DMCAs to smaller youtube channel like mine, knowing we can't really fight them - so I can't do any videos with footage of Nintendo games. I def might look into the Sims games at some point, though!
fall guys works great now but will occasionally freeze up while loading a map making me leave and lose my progress. Any help to prevent it? There's no performance issue before the crash, and I'm using proton GE 26 like the other comment
I don't have all the context but what that sounds like may be more of an internet issue than a compatibility issue, if you lose connection from the server, you get booted out of the game, so try playing either a bit closer to your router or wired (I know the second option isn't great because it defeats the purpose of a handheld) Might fix it, might not, but worth a shot
@@ZavchYT probably best to drop back down to version 20 instead of 26, I've been playing on 20 exclusively and had no problems (just turn the settings to low and turn off bloom)
Steam doesn't recognize the Steam Deck's controller in desktop mode by default, so you have to boot it up in gaming mode in order for controls to work properly, unfortunately!

@@Mickspad it wouldn't have a connection error, it would literally be frozen when loading a map sometimes, and I have to force close it

Fall Guys was delisted from Steam - it's only available to play through Steam if you had previously purchased it prior to its delisting.
