Lucas runs a glorified bed & breakfast with a built-in fancy restaurant that occasionally serves alcohol and doubles as a town gathering place for weddings among other things. He is by no means a shady saloon owner! I think just about every new guy that has come to town has been "shady" for a few episodes and people have just willfully forgotten that. If they want to see a shady saloon owner, they should watch Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. It's a knight and day difference between Lucas and Hank! On a side note we wouldn't have shows like this if it weren't for shows like Dr. Quinn and there have definitely been some similarities over the years! Love that some are going back and watching the previous seasons and seeing it in a whole new way / seeing it for the first time after seeing who she's with now and finding the parallels! I know I was shocked when I rewatched at how much I had forgotten but also at just how many parallels there were thrown in for Lucas to make SO MUCH SENSE! I'm right there with you on her behavior toward him vs Nathan the ENTIRE TIME. (Don't get me wrong, KEVIN is extremely charming but he dulls himself down as Nathan - showing how great an actor he is in the process - as Nathan is clearly wrong FOR HER - he'll find someone else - the whole way through and some are just refusing to see that. I can't help but wonder if some of it is just their love of Kevin and the other roles he's played where we haven't seen nearly as much of Chris? I adore them both but it doesn't change the fact that Elizabeth is always excited to see Lucas and reluctant / trepidatious around Nathan. Could they have retconned it and made it work and explained away her fears? Maybe. Did they need to? No - because it was ALWAYS there with Lucas. Especially the random scenes that didn't need to be there otherwise! And we had 2 almost kisses - of course there was going to be a payoff!) Rain almost kiss is one of my favorite moments of the entire season!!! And she was allll smiles talking about their date that Lucas didn't think was as good as she deserved but to her was pretty perfect! (Early morning ride was another favorite.) An addition to the "perfect" quotes - he calls her perfect when he meets her too! His letting her go was purely to help her and it did (which she totally should not have thanked him for and then left the conversation hanging!!!) because it made her realize that she needed to do something about it. That he wasn't going to hang around forever waiting. It made her take that final step and take off her rings. I realized something about the bridge the other day. I know there are a lot who want to think of various couples as Anne and Gilbert (and some on the other team who were majorly miffed because they were soooo sure they were Anne and Gilbert but then Lucas got the bridge scene - love that they have so many places that are theirs now!), but this is not Anne of Green Gables. This is Little Women done RIGHT. (MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD) I think AoGG was written almost in reaction to being upset about the choices in LW but if you watch especially the 1985 AoGG / 1994 LW adaptations, the failed declarations of love/proposal scenes are almost identical - but one "couple" finds their way back and the other doesn't. Nathan isn't Gilbert - he's Theodore Lawrence. He thinks they have this profound connection because it means something TO HIM and that she just needs time to see why it's so right blah blah. It's almost manic and demanding (see Christian Bale as Teddy!) even though Nathan later acknowledges that Elizabeth doesn't even really know him. But Jo ends up with someone else - not her best friend that we as an audience grew attached to and many thought would eventually end up with her. But the professor who is helping her get her writing published. That relationship was mostly off-screen. This random guy out of nowhere that doesn't share history with her but a love of literature and can make her dreams come true. And for decades (century+ now?) people have been upset over this choice because we didn't get to know the other guy so it seemed self-serving at best. But this time we have! And we see her connection to Lucas and WHY they make so much more sense together. And why he pushes her whereas Nathan needs her in his life and her help with Allie (all of which does not require a romantic relationship) just like Teddy needs the March sisters and always expected to be part of that family but it's not ultimately in the way he initially thought. It's LW but fleshed out this time and giving us a reason to actually ROOT for the guy she does choose instead of wondering why she didn't choose the other. As a writer I could not agree more about just how telling it was that she let him read anything! And she let him off EASY when she even admitted she just couldn't stay mad at him after he sent it off without permission! That "date" she only had eyes for Lucas and the moment he looked hurt at the end of the scene she shut down the date immediately. Nathan looks hurt and she keeps dancing with Lucas. She knows Nathan will be hurt but she goes to Union City anyway. Hmmm.... After The Kiss I rewatched everything and it's plain as day. I couldn't agree more that going back there aren't really "romantic" moments to look to for Nathan and Elizabeth. Great scenes that in any other project might have eventually wrapped back around BUT were missing those key moments for sure! And those were there in spades for LucaBeth. (Especially telling that we didn't see Nathan giving her the flowers. We saw Lucas smirk when he realized the original flowers WEREN'T from Nathan but we didn't see Nathan deliver his flowers.) And the parallel between Nathan and Rosemary is huge! Most of us HATED HER (I can't imagine hating anyone Kevin plays, Nathan was just a bit delusional to think he stood a chance here), but I have faith that they'll find someone for him too that's a MUCH better fit! Look at how beloved Lee and Rosemary are now!!! And as I commented down below somewhere - you can see the exact moment in the serge scene when Nathan realizes that she's still thinking about Jack when she's around him. So much so that he's incredibly uncomfortable in the moment (and refuses Jack's gloves when she offers them) but that scene is the reason he takes it as well as he does when she officially explains herself in no uncertain terms. I guarantee that's the moment he thought back to to realize she was right, that she was projecting. Can't wait to see so much more of LucaBeth this season without the obstacles! I just hope that the traditional kindness Hearties used to be known for returns as well. The hate I see thrown at the cast is appalling. They're all wonderful people and friends! I adore both guys and can't wait to see what season 9 brings us! (Chris deserves so much better than he got after the finale!) PS: Christmas wedding definitely has a lot of potential and I see the appeal but that's also Little Jack's birthday so they'd have to figure out a way to not make Lucas even more hated for that. (SIGH)
I really enjoyed reading your thoughts - thank you for taking the time to share them! I'm honestly not a fan of Kevin or Nathan, but I do find Kevin a lot more likeable and attractive than Nathan. I think you are correct in guessing that a lot of these Nathan fans are Kevin fans. There is also another group who are strictly rooted in the fact that the story has to be between a teacher and a Mountie. It's sad, because both groups are missing a beautiful love story being told. I agree that Chris deserves so much better. The LucaBeth romance is going to be epic, and I cannot wait to see it continue!!
I love your analysis of LW! Have you seen the 2019 version? As much as I love the ‘94 version, I think that one has become my favorite especially when it comes to the “triangle” of Jo/Laurie/Amy, which there really wasn’t, because Jo never saw Laurie as a romantic suitor, such as the case of “our triangle”, and the movie goes into so much more detail of Laurie & Amy, & you get to see their love story developing, kinda like how we’ve seen the love story of E & L developing! ❤️ Anyway, if you haven’t seen it, check it out! I just adored Florence Pugh as Amy!

I think Rosie couldn't understand because she thought that E had already overcome Jack's death, because she was seeing Lucas. Rosie is always very practical, and maybe she thought E would be like her. And I loved when she advised Nathan in library, telling him that he was being an obstacle in E's life and the most important: she said with all the words that he was causing suffering for E, and even though he decide to keep his idea of loving her.
We (they) were definitely not misled! With all your evidence y’all just cited, if Elizabeth had chosen Nathan, Team Lucas would have every right to yell, “We were misled!” But thank goodness we don’t! Great job on these podcasts, ladies! I remember in an interview the Erin, Chris and Kevin, we were told that there were going to be clues back and forth as to whether it was going to be Lucas or Nathan that Elizabeth chose. I kept waiting for the clues for implied that Nathan might have been Elizabeth's chose. To me there were none. It was always Lucas.

The scene where she "warms Nathan up" was disturbing. It was like we could see inside E's mind, all the mess and hurt was inside her mind, because she was doing that for Nathan, but talking and thinking about JACK! It was evident that she was thinking of Jack and doing that again FOR JACK and not for Nathan.
Am I imagining things or was there not a moment when Nathan looks incredibly uncomfortable in that scene because he's realizing that she's projecting Jack onto him? He's shocked she offers and she immediately brings up Jack and it's like....ohhh. I think that's why he takes it as well as he does after that because as soon as she says that was the reason he's gotta be thinking back to that moment when she was on Mountie Wife auto-pilot and it had nothing to do with him whatsoever.
Christmas wedding would be nice, but Little Jack's birthday is Christmas Eve. It's too close and that day should be about him. I also thought back to season one and how Elizabeth set Jack free to choose between her and Rosemary, and she even considered leaving for a prestigious teaching position in Hamilton. She'd been through this with the shoe on the other foot, so she knew how difficult it was for Lucas. So many parallels, it's almost impossible to find them all...How could anyone misinterpret the outcome? It would be like being angry that Jack didn't choose Rosemary! Hahahahahaha!
This was so much fun to listen to! I do very much appreciate your hard work in making these videos. I do agree with you ladies, and though as I was watching seasons 7-8 I wasn’t sure what the outcome would be of the “triangle” (and of course the production wouldn’t want it to be blatantly obvious!), in my heart of hearts, looking at the scenes LOGICALLY, I couldn’t help but feel Elizabeth was choosing Lucas all along!! And gradually my hopes grew for their ultimate love 💗 story! Your comments have confirmed all that I was feeling about this outcome. I was a bit like Linda in that I had only begun watching WCTH in season 6, and now after season 8 I have gone back and started with season 1. What a wonderful series! Now I am SO looking forward to season 9 to see more of Elizabeth and Lucas’ love story, and I think everyone should be glad as well to see Nathan free to pursue other storylines and potential love interests. Hey ladies, I have never bothered paying attention to any type of podcast, let alone respond to them. However, you guys totally Crack me up. I'm a heck of a lot , older, will be 73 next month. You all work really well together & I love all your bantering back and forth. I literally feel like I want to open the door and hang out with you all. I have to say you guys have expressed most of the thoughts that have played out in my mind, but Div, everytime you open your mouth with that attitude of you have , is like watching myself. I am belly laughing. The little boy in red, drives me nuts, and this so called honorable man was also deceitful when Bill straight out asked him if there was anything he was keeping from him, regarding this situation in Fort Clay... grrrr..
I've always thought that E and N's relationship was not healthy! And I've always worried about the TN fans who say that is love, like, what kind of relationship are you used to?
I actually liked their description of E and N’s relationship being “toxic” for each other. Both E and N are good people but their interactions with each don’t lift each other up the way E and L’s interactions do.
In Allie's visit to Lucas, it was possible to see that her problem was not that E was not "in love" with her uncle, but the whole bad environment Nathan was creating among them and how she felt that she needed to defend her uncle, like, it was not that she really wanted and needed E to be her new aunt, but it was like: my uncle wants her, so he needs to get her to be happy. And she goes to the salloon with this thought, the thought that Lucas was a kind of enemy, like Nathan always behaved. But then, when Lucas tells her that he and her uncle would solve their problems, she relaxed, like, "ok, we will all be able to be friends". So here we can see that who was causing Allie's bad behavior was not Elizabeth, but her uncle and her need to protect him, but he, her uncle, was not protecting her or her feelings. Lucas behaved as a father for Allie there, caring for her feelings, Nathan didn't.

Just like Lucas said to him at the oil derrick, he should be thinking of Elizabeth's and Allie's best interest not his own, but that was not what he was doing, he was making everybody suffer with that whole "love worth fighting for" thing, and Rosemary told him that, but as always he didn't listen, actually he never listens. And his behavior caused Allie's bad behavior.
You guys are sooo entertaining and I love how you analyze the facts in depth. Agree, we have not been misled (except for the exclusion of the puppy scene on the S8 dvd 😂). And not sure if this has been mentioned, but the “powers that be” DID create that elaborately decorated “cozy” office for L and E to hang out in. Thinking of Lucas as end game😉. You can tell that Nathan really didn't Love Elizabeth when he forgets to brings her the flowers from Ned & Florence's wedding. I new when Elizabeth asks Lucas to dance and not Nathan
Elizabeth's touching her rings was brought up, so has anyone else noticed that the only time she does touch her rings is when she's been with Lucas. I think it's pretty obvious that she keeps debating with herself when it right to remove the rings and move forward with a new love who has been just as wonderful as Jack. And the comment about that game of touching the men's hands while blindfolded, I realize why that had to have Elizabeth next but it really annoyed me because Faith and Carson were going together while Elizabeth and Lucas were not nearly as much a couple. Faith should have been next.
I absolutely agree that it has always been about Lucas & Elizabeth since Lucas joined the show...not much happening between Elizabeth and Nathan. Hoping for an outside wedding for Lucas & Elizabeth too...would be so beautiful from all the other weddings. You nailed the whole thing with Nathan and even Allie...Nathan was so jealous of every time he say Lucas and Elizabeth together that it became ridiculous. He would slink off pouting every time and it was sick. And then Allie and her manipulative ways to try to get them together...again, nonsense. I have watched the whole series, to finish, quite a few times, and each time I pick up more clues on just how ridiculous Nathan was and how into Lucas Elizabeth was...But somehow, the TN people refuse to see it.

I have been waiting for this podcast to come out for days. I am so happy I was awake and internet surfing and found it shortly after you posted it. I agree so much with all of you, I believe something was happening way back when he was moving his alcohol off little truck thing. If she wasnt interested she would have cut that conversation much shorter and told him she was Mrs. Thornton right from the beginning but she kept smiling, swinging and swaying until she was almost late for school. There were so many instances that showed Lucas was the one she was falling for right from the beginning. I still to this day cant figure out where the Team Nathan people could twist the scenes around to it being Nathan that Elizabeth was falling for. I think quite a bit of Nathan's feeling were coming from Allie's going back to Nathan and telling him false stories.... Like when she told him that Elizabeth talked about him all the time and she told Elizabeth that Nathan talked about her all the time. In one of Erin's interviews she said pay attention because we are given clues all through the season that will tell who the end game man will be. I love you guys!!! Keep it up because you have plenty of us fans that will be tuning in.

So many examples….but I can only rationalize the negativity towards Lucas as they are Kevin McGarry fans first and always. They wanted him to get the girl. Yes 🙌 I was trying to be patient waiting for this part 2 of We were DEFINITELY NOT misled 😂 But I did wonder when you were going to post it. So since the part 1. I was basically watching all of your other podcast episodes over and over again. I’m loving your insights. & it’s making me all the more excited for season 9. & I’ve still yet to actually see full episodes of both season 7 & 8. As a Brit we don’t have Hallmark channel. I actually came a across WCTH from kiss scene TH-cam Videos just like 6 months ago 😂 Anyone do that, just watch kiss scenes from TV Shows & films. How sad 😂🤦♀️ anyway so I think it was ones of Jack & Elizabeth. & I then I saw random clips of season 8 showing mainly Lucas & Elizabeth. & immediately thought they were so good together. Their dynamic just so cute. Where as Elizabeth & Nathan were just so awkward. I was then rooting for & being like, she better chose Lucas in the end. & she did, so thank goodness. & then I was like why have I not seen this show before. & discovered (this was after the season 8 finale) was actually on Netflix UK season 1-6 so I binged watched all those episodes August through September. & thankfully I did, cause seasons 1-4 they removed at the end of September 😢 Although Season 5 & 6 are still on Netflix UK. Bit weird? Hopefully that means that they’ll put season 7 & 8 on there soon 🤞.
And again - Lucas as usual was concerned only about Elizabeth's feelings. Nathan was always what he wanted (library scene with Rosie - "I can't let her go").
Ok how was Elizabeth misleading Nathan?! Elizabeth was never interested in Nathan in that way if you Nathan and Elizabeth fans were to look at Elizabeth and Lucas's relationship between them and Elizabeth and Nathan's relationship between them maybe that would make more sense to you all. We know one thing Nathan never told the truth to Elizabeth and Allie about…that Allie’s father came to Hope Valley to extort money from Nathan. He lied to Elizabeth’s face when Elizabeth asked who was that guy. I can understand not telling Allie but shouldn’t you trust the woman you supposedly want to spend your life with?

The hate I see thrown at the cast is appalling. They're all wonderful people and friends! I adore both guys and can't wait to see what season 9 brings us! (Chris deserves so much better than he got after the finale!)
PS: Christmas wedding definitely has a lot of potential and I see the appeal but that's also Little Jack's birthday so they'd have to figure out a way to not make Lucas even more hated for that. (SIGH)
I really enjoyed reading your thoughts - thank you for taking the time to share them! I'm honestly not a fan of Kevin or Nathan, but I do find Kevin a lot more likeable and attractive than Nathan. I think you are correct in guessing that a lot of these Nathan fans are Kevin fans. There is also another group who are strictly rooted in the fact that the story has to be between a teacher and a Mountie. It's sad, because both groups are missing a beautiful love story being told. I agree that Chris deserves so much better. The LucaBeth romance is going to be epic, and I cannot wait to see it continue!!
I love your analysis of LW! Have you seen the 2019 version? As much as I love the ‘94 version, I think that one has become my favorite especially when it comes to the “triangle” of Jo/Laurie/Amy, which there really wasn’t, because Jo never saw Laurie as a romantic suitor, such as the case of “our triangle”, and the movie goes into so much more detail of Laurie & Amy, & you get to see their love story developing, kinda like how we’ve seen the love story of E & L developing! ❤️ Anyway, if you haven’t seen it, check it out! I just adored Florence Pugh as Amy!

Another great podcast! I totally agree that there was no misleading and you outlined it beautifully. Nathan said it in the saloon, “I think her heart has “always” been with you, Lucas.” Beginning to Endgame! I loved this season and I can’t wait for season 9 and more Lucabeth Lounge!
I think Rosie couldn't understand because she thought that E had already overcome Jack's death, because she was seeing Lucas. Rosie is always very practical, and maybe she thought E would be like her. And I loved when she advised Nathan in library, telling him that he was being an obstacle in E's life and the most important: she said with all the words that he was causing suffering for E, and even though he decide to keep his idea of loving her.
We (they) were definitely not misled! With all your evidence y’all just cited, if Elizabeth had chosen Nathan, Team Lucas would have every right to yell, “We were misled!” But thank goodness we don’t! Great job on these podcasts, ladies! I remember in an interview the Erin, Chris and Kevin, we were told that there were going to be clues back and forth as to whether it was going to be Lucas or Nathan that Elizabeth chose. I kept waiting for the clues for implied that Nathan might have been Elizabeth's chose. To me there were none. It was always Lucas.
Elizabeth liked Lucas from day one!, but, she chose him on S6-E10 (two of hearts), when she asked him to dance with for “ladies choice “. 🤓

The scene where she "warms Nathan up" was disturbing. It was like we could see inside E's mind, all the mess and hurt was inside her mind, because she was doing that for Nathan, but talking and thinking about JACK! It was evident that she was thinking of Jack and doing that again FOR JACK and not for Nathan.
Am I imagining things or was there not a moment when Nathan looks incredibly uncomfortable in that scene because he's realizing that she's projecting Jack onto him? He's shocked she offers and she immediately brings up Jack and it's like....ohhh. I think that's why he takes it as well as he does after that because as soon as she says that was the reason he's gotta be thinking back to that moment when she was on Mountie Wife auto-pilot and it had nothing to do with him whatsoever.

Christmas wedding would be nice, but Little Jack's birthday is Christmas Eve. It's too close and that day should be about him. I also thought back to season one and how Elizabeth set Jack free to choose between her and Rosemary, and she even considered leaving for a prestigious teaching position in Hamilton. She'd been through this with the shoe on the other foot, so she knew how difficult it was for Lucas. So many parallels, it's almost impossible to find them all...How could anyone misinterpret the outcome? It would be like being angry that Jack didn't choose Rosemary! Hahahahahaha!
This was so much fun to listen to! I do very much appreciate your hard work in making these videos. I do agree with you ladies, and though as I was watching seasons 7-8 I wasn’t sure what the outcome would be of the “triangle” (and of course the production wouldn’t want it to be blatantly obvious!), in my heart of hearts, looking at the scenes LOGICALLY, I couldn’t help but feel Elizabeth was choosing Lucas all along!! And gradually my hopes grew for their ultimate love 💗 story! Your comments have confirmed all that I was feeling about this outcome. I was a bit like Linda in that I had only begun watching WCTH in season 6, and now after season 8 I have gone back and started with season 1. What a wonderful series!
Now I am SO looking forward to season 9 to see more of Elizabeth and Lucas’ love story, and I think everyone should be glad as well to see Nathan free to pursue other storylines and potential love interests. Hey ladies, I have never bothered paying attention to any type of podcast, let alone respond to them. However, you guys totally Crack me up. I'm a heck of a lot , older, will be 73 next month. You all work really well together & I love all your bantering back and forth. I literally feel like I want to open the door and hang out with you all. I have to say you guys have expressed most of the thoughts that have played out in my mind, but Div, everytime you open your mouth with that attitude of you have , is like watching myself. I am belly laughing. The little boy in red, drives me nuts, and this so called honorable man was also deceitful when Bill straight out asked him if there was anything he was keeping from him, regarding this situation in Fort Clay... grrrr..
I've always thought that E and N's relationship was not healthy! And I've always worried about the TN fans who say that is love, like, what kind of relationship are you used to?

I actually liked their description of E and N’s relationship being “toxic” for each other. Both E and N are good people but their interactions with each don’t lift each other up the way E and L’s interactions do.

In Allie's visit to Lucas, it was possible to see that her problem was not that E was not "in love" with her uncle, but the whole bad environment Nathan was creating among them and how she felt that she needed to defend her uncle, like, it was not that she really wanted and needed E to be her new aunt, but it was like: my uncle wants her, so he needs to get her to be happy. And she goes to the salloon with this thought, the thought that Lucas was a kind of enemy, like Nathan always behaved. But then, when Lucas tells her that he and her uncle would solve their problems, she relaxed, like, "ok, we will all be able to be friends". So here we can see that who was causing Allie's bad behavior was not Elizabeth, but her uncle and her need to protect him, but he, her uncle, was not protecting her or her feelings. Lucas behaved as a father for Allie there, caring for her feelings, Nathan didn't.
And Elizabeth said that to Nathan! He needs to talk to Allie about EVERYTHING, but he never did!
@@jessicagerard1380 Exactly! He was being selfish. Just like Lucas said to him at the oil derrick, he should be thinking of Elizabeth's and Allie's best interest not his own, but that was not what he was doing, he was making everybody suffer with that whole "love worth fighting for" thing, and Rosemary told him that, but as always he didn't listen, actually he never listens. And his behavior caused Allie's bad behavior.
You guys are sooo entertaining and I love how you analyze the facts in depth. Agree, we have not been misled (except for the exclusion of the puppy scene on the S8 dvd 😂). And not sure if this has been mentioned, but the “powers that be” DID create that elaborately decorated “cozy” office for L and E to hang out in. Thinking of Lucas as end game😉. Btw, still laughing at Div’s comment that “mommy has eyes for another man” in the last episode…priceless.

You can tell that Nathan really didn't Love Elizabeth when he forgets to brings her the flowers from Ned & Florence's wedding. I new when Elizabeth asks Lucas to dance and not Nathan
Elizabeth's touching her rings was brought up, so has anyone else noticed that the only time she does touch her rings is when she's been with Lucas. I think it's pretty obvious that she keeps debating with herself when it right to remove the rings and move forward with a new love who has been just as wonderful as Jack.
And the comment about that game of touching the men's hands while blindfolded, I realize why that had to have Elizabeth next but it really annoyed me because Faith and Carson were going together while Elizabeth and Lucas were not nearly as much a couple. Faith should have been next.
I absolutely agree that it has always been about Lucas & Elizabeth since Lucas joined the show...not much happening between Elizabeth and Nathan. Hoping for an outside wedding for Lucas & Elizabeth too...would be so beautiful from all the other weddings. The Nathan followers must be seeing a totally different show with their comments...it's totally been Lucabeth with all the parallels too !!!

The office scene, Jillian you are correct, Elizabeth is saying Until later" Lucus on the phone " Gooday Paul, what! Why? Another buyer? That is not at all what we had agreed upon.." HIS French is impeccable & fluent, so I Google to check it out. Yes it is his second language . He was schooled in French Immersion .
You nailed the whole thing with Nathan and even Allie...Nathan was so jealous of every time he say Lucas and Elizabeth together that it became ridiculous. He would slink off pouting every time and it was sick. And then Allie and her manipulative ways to try to get them together...again, nonsense. I have watched the whole series, to finish, quite a few times, and each time I pick up more clues on just how ridiculous Nathan was and how into Lucas Elizabeth was...But somehow, the TN people refuse to see it.
When Carson and Nathan had the scene in front of the Mercantile where Nathan said he would not give up on Elizabeth - it was creepy.

I have been waiting for this podcast to come out for days. I am so happy I was awake and internet surfing and found it shortly after you posted it. I agree so much with all of you, I believe something was happening way back when he was moving his alcohol off little truck thing. If she wasnt interested she would have cut that conversation much shorter and told him she was Mrs. Thornton right from the beginning but she kept smiling, swinging and swaying until she was almost late for school. There were so many instances that showed Lucas was the one she was falling for right from the beginning. I still to this day cant figure out where the Team Nathan people could twist the scenes around to it being Nathan that Elizabeth was falling for. I think quite a bit of Nathan's feeling were coming from Allie's going back to Nathan and telling him false stories.... Like when she told him that Elizabeth talked about him all the time and she told Elizabeth that Nathan talked about her all the time. In one of Erin's interviews she said pay attention because we are given clues all through the season that will tell who the end game man will be. I love you guys!!! Keep it up because you have plenty of us fans that will be tuning in.
I ;love your podcasts!! I had so many fights with TN fans that refused to listen to anything I had to say. And basically, I had the same opinions that you had about everything. And the fact that Nathan refused to accept that Elizabeth would never choose him, yet said that he is not ready to give up...give up what??? He never had her to give up!

Ladies, love all your episodes and your analysis. They just make my heart happy. But, I keep trying to understand the TN people and how in the world they cannot see any of these wonderful points. It was for me, totally obvious from day one with the flirty how do you do. I do not understand why Lucas was so awful for owning a saloon when even Bill, whom everyone loves, wanted to buy it. So many examples….but I can only rationalize the negativity towards Lucas as they are Kevin McGarry fans first and always. They wanted him to get the girl. I just wonder what they would say if Chris and Kevin switched rolls. Would they be in favor of Lucas as played by Kevin? Thank you again for all your time and brilliant analysis.
Yes 🙌 I was trying to be patient waiting for this part 2 of We were DEFINITELY NOT misled 😂 But I did wonder when you were going to post it. So since the part 1. I was basically watching all of your other podcast episodes over and over again. I’m loving your insights. & it’s making me all the more excited for season 9. & I’ve still yet to actually see full episodes of both season 7 & 8. As a Brit we don’t have Hallmark channel. I actually came a across WCTH from kiss scene TH-cam Videos just like 6 months ago 😂 Anyone do that, just watch kiss scenes from TV Shows & films. How sad 😂🤦♀️ anyway so I think it was ones of Jack & Elizabeth. & I then I saw random clips of season 8 showing mainly Lucas & Elizabeth. & immediately thought they were so good together. Their dynamic just so cute. Where as Elizabeth & Nathan were just so awkward. I was then rooting for & being like, she better chose Lucas in the end. & she did, so thank goodness. & then I was like why have I not seen this show before. & discovered (this was after the season 8 finale) was actually on Netflix UK season 1-6 so I binged watched all those episodes August through September. & thankfully I did, cause seasons 1-4 they removed at the end of September 😢 Although Season 5 & 6 are still on Netflix UK. Bit weird? Hopefully that means that they’ll put season 7 & 8 on there soon 🤞.
And again - Lucas as usual was concerned only about Elizabeth's feelings. Nathan was always what he wanted (library scene with Rosie - "I can't let her go").

Ok how was Elizabeth misleading Nathan?! Elizabeth was never interested in Nathan in that way if you Nathan and Elizabeth fans were to look at Elizabeth and Lucas's relationship between them and Elizabeth and Nathan's relationship between them maybe that would make more sense to you all. Elizabeth was always interested in Lucas not Nathan it was never Nathan it was always Lucas. Why do you all feel and think that Elizabeth misleading Nathan?
PS. When Jack was taken out of the show, I seriously no longer wanted to watch, very disappointed. Now that Lucus has built this bond with Elizabeth, no disrespect for Jack, but the chemistry with Lucus is definitely a cut above & beyond...

We know one thing Nathan never told the truth to Elizabeth and Allie about…that Allie’s father came to Hope Valley to extort money from Nathan. He lied to Elizabeth’s face when Elizabeth asked who was that guy. I can understand not telling Allie but shouldn’t you trust the woman you supposedly want to spend your life with?

Hay muchas razones. Nathan y Elizabeth nunca salieron a cenar juntos o solos. Cuando estaban juntos, o estaban discutiendo o hablando de Allie. Nathan no le dijo la verdad a Elizabeth de lo que paso con Jack. Mientras tanto, Lucas y Elizabeth salieron a cenar varias veces, solos. Y fue romantico. El siempre la ha tratado bien. Cuando han descutido, el le ha pedido perdon. Se nota que ella le gusta estar con el, ella se alegra. Luego cuando ella le ayudo a Nathan con su abrigo rojo, ella lo estaba comparando con Jack, no porque estaba pensando en Nathan. Hay muchas razones mas, estas son nomas unas cuantas.
