The reason players today seem soft is they like each other ...they grew up as friends...they get paid way more and the punishment damage to your image socially publicly is too great to be tough guy..the league is growing so fast money that why would you get kicked out when 1000 guys Can replace you ..like of course its soft...your not gonna kill each other ...back in the 80's an early 90's the players made maybe a half million some made a million but only the top players even made 2-3 million ...like the difference wasn't so big and every player was worth similar amounts ..it changed since the late 90's...now everyone is a brand and less competitive cause they got paid way sooner then they used to when you had to earn it longer...now its handed to you..right away..

Bill was sorta proven right the first year that its hard to just put 3 guys together and win but that was more on LeBron shrinking but ironic they signed Eddie house who worked in Boston when they worked together and bill was looking at it from the perspective that its really hard to win cause the celtics almost lost in round 1 lol..to a.below .500 hawks team ...and went to 7 twice and 6 games 2 times in 2008...and because Garnett got hurt a 39-4 team trying ot repeat went to shit..and never won again ...Perkins going down cost them 2010...the heat were lucky wade bosh and LeBron those 4 years never had a big season ending injury as we saw with bosh after ...shit can end real quick..rellying on 3 guys is not ideal...you want 6-7 really good players ..sure in hindsight its easy to say they were the best team 3 years in a row and the 2nd best team in year 4 but injuries caused them to struggle at times .. .I mean they came back after being down in 7 series between 2011-2014 ...it was not easy ...it took a battier a chalmers a haslem a James Jones a mike miller a Norris Cole a Andersen a ray allen a turiaf a Joel anthony...everyone had a role in the titles ...it wasn't just the big 3..but they did 90% of the work ..and got you in position so those guys can make a difference ...that's what big 3s do...you have a chance and then a Dannie ainge a iguodala a rambis a john paxon Horry can emerge ..guys who normally can't lead a team but can contribute at the time and seize a game or moment ...a Derek fisher ..you have to set it up..miami did..he was in denial cause he didn't know the moves we had..he doubted riley and that first year with miller and haslem out until he got mike bibby the team was ass ..they rellied on the.big 3 too much ...they got healthy and blew the playoffs down but they should of won and LeBron wet the bed ...they were built to win 70 games and go 16-1 in the playoffs ..they didn't cause of health and LeBron ...they were still damn good..miller haslem were what Eddie house and pj brown and his 2.8 ppg a night were...
