- When friends and family do not have accessible homes there are some simple, inexpensive remedies for this problem.
In this video I show you how a couple rental ramps make an inaccessible home wheelchair friendly.
Nothing permanent, just thoughtful!

A few years ago I made a ramp for someone down the road from me after seeing her struggling to get her new buggy in to the house it made a big difference

I use a very similar ramp that bi folds for everyday use. It would surely be helpful to use when traveling a little more locally and can fit in the trunk of most any car.

They sell em all over
These ramps came from Amazon. Depending on the style of ramp they come in different widths. These are about 30" wide. Usually the length is the variable.
Have the same ramp for my son.

My house has the bathroom completely inaccessible to be able to bathe in the shower, for a metal chair to be able to bathe.

Tanelle, will you ride the handcycle on the porch? You still have to pay for all your airline flights to get to these far away places even if you stay with friends for free.
Flights are cheap compared to many accessible accommodations
