  • In this film I've travelled to Norway for my first visit as a fishing tourist with all of the expectation of what is possible. I'm not disappointed as although the fish aren't jumping onto my line there are significant numbers in impressive sizes.
    This was my PB Pollock until the next one i caught and seceral others later on. 😂🎣👍🏻

      It is surprisingly affordable despite the country being expensive for some things.

      It was my PB on a lure until later that day when I had an 8lb 5oz. I was chuffed to bits with that until another in the group had one at 8lb 6oz 🤬😂
      It is an amazing place to visit but needs preparation. I hope you have a good time. 🎣👍🏻

      @@jonnygilbert233 it was super energetic with 7 full runs stripping me almost to backing each time. I’ve not had such a battle from the shore before. 🎣

    • @jonnygilbert233
      @jonnygilbert233 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They brilliant fighting fish aren’t they😁
      But like I said before you went your essentially boat fishing from the beach because of the depth of water they have the space to do the deep dives.
      When I caught my big one and I was lucky enough to get a smaller one the same day nothing else mattered all I wanted was another 🤣

    Your right hand should be above the reel for more control and leverage

    • @seaangling
      @seaangling  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Usually I would agree with you but the reel seat on this 6’ rod is too far forward when using it as a lure rod. It is perfect as a vertical jigging rod which is it’s designed use.
