Your work has helped me move to a higher level of awareness about the power and value of art. And I've been a painter for over 30 yrs. Never quite saw this before. Its not just something nice to do or "selfish". With all the turmoil going on in the world, we should never forget that creativity will save us more than anything else. Turn off the news and paint. Or whatever you do to create.
This class is just what I needed to start picking up my pastels again after a few months of having all my painting gear hidden in the garage of my new house. Actually there was no excuse left for for not painting, but it required a little push. Thank you Karen.

I really love the way you paint! It is so inspiring to watch. -I bought a set of Rembrandt pastels some year ago, but didn't know how to use them, so they just lay in the box unused. But now I've taken them out again...
