Yeah the funny thing is that Qantas has 1 daily flight out of that terminal. Next year they will have 2 flights from jfk with a non stop flight to Auckland

Great trip report and neat vlog as always, Jayden! I guess I'm not shocked about rude customer service at the AA check-in at JFK. I understand that's pretty typical in NYC. I'm impressed with AA's meal offerings in economy, particularly the dinner. Was the toilet flushing when you went into the lav? The airfare seems very reasonable, not a bad price for a flight to Paris. And...ahh, a man after my own heart...you had escargots TWICE and boeuf tartare! 😎😎 Do you speak any French? Thanks for your great work!
true I should've remembered that I was in NYC🤣 Yes the toilet was flushing when I went in. I hoped I told the crew about it, it could be a safety hazard but it didn't click when I noticed it. I had escargots three times! First time by myself, second time was night with cousin, and third time was lunch before we left🤣 I only only say a very few basic words 😳 Not enough for a day-to-day communication

As a Parisian, I was particularly interested by your vlog at the end haha, you had to go through the RER B line to get to Paris from CDG, which is probably among the messiest lines of the network, it serves a lot of « difficult suburbs » as we like to say in French, where people are not so respectful with public amenities… Thankfully CDG will also be served in the future by the new CDG Express train from 2026, which will connect the airport with Paris-Gare de l’Est station in 15 minutes, and from 2030 by the new metro line 17… the RER A you took to Disney on the other hand is very efficient and performing well with modern double decker trains. Thanks for visiting Paris and I hope to see an Air France long haul review one day haha
AA's flagship lounge never fails to impress. Their buffet selection has always been awesome. The main course for the main meal looks pretty delicious! Finally, as always, your washroom tour and focus on coat hook ( 15:08 ) is what's worth waiting for. 😆
it's underrated! People don't talk about it enough haha! The food on this flight was so so much better than HKG-LAX. This one looked good and was edible and delish🤣

Hi Jayden. I hope you sent an email to the airline to complain about the rudeness, and lack of knowledge their check in staff had. Absolutely no need for it . Crazy that knifes and forks are given out to eat yoghurt and the fig bar ! 😀 And...as for smoking on public transport, I thought that was something banned worldwide... obviously not !
1:10 - I am So surprised that the AA Check-in agent didn't know Qantas. - This is totally unacceptable. As a former MH customer service, have to remember all the oneworld members and also the benefits of oneworld tiers.
luv your cousin, she is so bubbly and energetic. what was the snails like, must be nice as you had them several times. i imagine them to be chewy, not that id be game to try the,. lol i have tried frogs legs, and yes... they tasted like mini drum stix. lol when you request a seat up the back (so its just 2 seats) do you still get charged for asking for certain seats ? have fun, loved the video of usa and paris... im green with jealousy :)

You`re really making up for all that time with border closures now Jayden with these international trips! I`ve never been brave enough to travel long-haul with AA as I`ve had so many issues with their ground staff on domestic flights. In fairness though, on this flight their offering appeared to be decent enough.

Thanks so much for watching both of them😁 DEL-JFK is much longer than JFK-HKG so I would suspect two full meals and possibly a mid flight refreshment. American Airlines served HK style milk tea on HK flights and I wouldn’t be surprised if they serve chai on DEL flights like Qantas do :) i hope you have a great flight with AA
sorry to hear that you've had check-in experience. I've experienced it once where they charged me for tax that was already charged to the ticket. Eventually they refund my money back to me but in coins!

I did tell her that all taxes were included in the ticket. she didn't believe me and her friend also came along and told me that a certain tax wasn't included. so I paid for the extra tax. turns out that both of them were new to the job. I guess they were scared I was going to complain about it. so i guess theyve looked up and found out that the tax was included in my ticket and then they've refund the extra tax to me at the gate but all in coins! I was pissed off and complained at the gate about the situation and being refunded back all in coins! but had to cool it off as it wasn't the gate agent's fault. anyways... it's all in the past and just an experience to share.

There is an actual purpose almost every time I fly! This Europe/USA trip was to celebrate my cousin's graduation and I had not seen her in four years due to COVID and distance; I live in Australia, she lived in England for 4 years and just relocated back to Hong Kong.
This was a last minute booking because Are Lingus cancelled my trip. Unfortunately all airlines, AA included, were charging ridiculous amounts. I was able to secure two seats on AA using Qantas Points! That being said I'd LOVE to fly Delta soon!!
A nice warm welcome by AA at JFK and Cabin Crew who work well into retirement age 😜! The meal looked like Lite and Easy, hope it tasted better than it looked at least you had a great meal in the lounge before boarding 👍
I loved my trip to Paris years ago. Sadly your check in experience is not uncommon with American Airlines. I live in Charlotte NC and it is an AA hub. The customer service has declined here since the merger with USAir. At least once you arrive in Paris you can let the good times roll!
Oh no that's not good... I was really surprised the agent didn't know better because she was at the priority counter! Arrival into Paris was smooth and no train strike, it was all good times afterwards indeed😁
English always of course! no matter where you're flying including North Korea. Always extra point though if they have a foreign crew to speak their languages :) especially if it's to the country where that country speaks that language. One time I flew British Airways to Hong Kong, they did English, Cantonese and surprisingly French!

Lucky you both got 1 power port each unlike most airlines where its 1 power port per pair of seats. Hate it when the check in staff don’t even know what the heck Qantas is, LMAO. JFK airport staff are like tsk tsk tsk… given a choice of whether to fly SQ nonstop to JFK or EWR, I’ll choose EWR instead.

It’s really inexcusable for the agent to be rude at any point. That’s one of the reasons why US carriers get such a bad rap. At least you got decent service on the plane and the food was good enough for economy food. That’s a small victory for American Airlines!❤️👍✈️ PS: you need to go to the original Disneyland in Anaheim, California

😱 she does not know what Qantas is? And omg I will nvr tolerate anyone who is rude and esp in the service sector. She should be fired and not only becos you are a frequent flyer... For anyone ! The food on American long haul looks good! And now now Disneyland wow I still love the one in Florida though overall not a Disneyland or theme park person. Rude staff at AA?! I wish we could say this was just an anomaly....Out of the Big Three, I would say AA is (by far) the worst for consistently rude staff. United is better, but Delta staff are usually the best of the three. Out of the smaller airlines, Alaska and JetBlue have terrific staff, far better than all the Big Three.

So what's the deal here? Did you & your adorable Cousin purchase an around the World Airfare or something? She seemed to have a really long break to be able to travel for so long with you?. Sometimes your video's just can't tell the full story. Your family seems to be all over the globe Jayden. Your in Adelaide, Cousin is in London, & your family is in Hong Kong!. Wow.
Haha we purchased multi city from Prague to Chicago, and return from NYC to Paris. We the got two one way tickets with AA from Chicago to Boston, and Boston to NYC. We started and finished in London so we got BA London-Prague and Paris-London. Most of my family members are in London :) And some in other parts of the UK, Hong Kong, Sweden, Poland and just me and myself in Australia

Beware AA Jayden. If you are sleeping when getting meals they will not give you your food. They would get angry when you asking for food and ask a stupid questions such as "why were you sleeping"?
I always find American airline flight attendants like Australian average age of around 45 😅 Compared to Asian airlines where there are all young and gorgeous…

Yes it reclines just like all the other rows :) Sitting at the window the lavatory wasn’t bothersome

haha good question! Somehow with my UK pin, the top one wouldn't go in, so I had to use the adapter for another plug 🤣

It’s really inexcusable for the agent to be rude at any point. That’s one of the reasons why US carriers get such a bad rap. At least you got decent service on the plane and the food was good enough for economy food. That’s a small victory for American Airlines!❤️👍✈️ PS: you need to go to the original Disneyland in Anaheim, California

The food on American long haul looks good! And now now Disneyland wow I still love the one in Florida though overall not a Disneyland or theme park person. Rude staff at AA?! I wish we could say this was just an anomaly....Out of the Big Three, I would say AA is (by far) the worst for consistently rude staff. United is better, but Delta staff are usually the best of the three. Out of the smaller airlines, Alaska and JetBlue have terrific staff, far better than all the Big Three.

I am not a fan of AA, so not surprised by ground staff and rudeness. When flying from USA, you are almost always better off on a.foreign carrier.

So what's the deal here? Did you & your adorable Cousin purchase an around the World Airfare or something? She seemed to have a really long break to be able to travel for so long with you?. Sometimes your video's just can't tell the full story. Your family seems to be all over the globe Jayden. Your in Adelaide, Cousin is in London, & your family is in Hong Kong!. Wow.
Haha we purchased multi city from Prague to Chicago, and return from NYC to Paris. We the got two one way tickets with AA from Chicago to Boston, and Boston to NYC. We started and finished in London so we got BA London-Prague and Paris-London.
Most of my family members are in London :) And some in other parts of the UK, Hong Kong, Sweden, Poland and just me and myself in Australia
And thats the terrible attitude of ntsa staff we have always endured at JFK. I think Newark staff are nicer.

You could have flown from JFK TO CDG with air France because I believe AIR FRANCE goes into a JFK as well!.

That's because they're allowed to work in their roles for longer (than is the case with most Asian airlines).
