    Thank you very much for switching to a more easy to follow along walkthrough! It can be easy to be overwhelming with the multiple options but not understand an order to generally do things in.
    If I may, I'd like to request also adding explanations why certain steps are being performed in future tutorials! Perhaps through annotations even. Also, what if we wanted to create a warmer look to the picture instead of cooler? Would the sliders just go in the opposite direction?

      Glad to hear you're enjoying the current tutorial structure! Agreed, we could explain why we're doing certain things more often. At the moment, we strive to keep tutorials relatively short, but more annotations/visuals are also great for making things even easier to understand. We'll keep the suggestion in mind!

    Would love to see a course that graduates a user up the ranks the way there is for photoshop

    Could you provide a written set of steps along with the video? Or a transcript of the instructions. Sometimes it is easier to go step by step to understand the concepts and procedures.

    Can you make a tutorial on how to colorize black and white images?

    • @PixelmatorVideos
      @PixelmatorVideos  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the suggestion - that's definitely a more advanced tutorial but doable nevertheless. We'll keep it in mind!

    In many ways this tutorial was very helpful. I especially appreciated the repeated use of adding color adjustment layers and masking. This repetition communicated how the system works. However, you lost me in a few steps - why did you duplicate one color adjustment layer instead of adding one? Why in one of the last iterations did we invert the mask where we hadn't before? Why did we change from using a black brush to a white brush? This is were you lost me. And the speed of the presentation was a bit too quick.

    I think this tutorial just makes easy things toooo complicated

      Hey Alex. You're absolutely right - this tutorial can easily be simplified to just a few steps, not using layer masks at all. You'd just make selections of the objects you want to recolor and apply the desired color adjustments to them. However, the purpose of most of our tutorials is to not only show how you can achieve certain effects but also explain the different editing techniques that can be useful in your future editing. Here, we wanted to showcase the adjustments layers and how you can use them.
