    Loved Presqu'ile. We were lucky to get a lakefront site back in September, what a view. Very windy, couldn't open the awning for our entire stay. The trails are just ok, I was very leary of the tall grass. Thanks again for a very informative video.

    Thank you for sharing your experience at Prequ'ile Provincial Park. I liked how you provided a Health Warning about the ticks, the overview of the parks campsites and of course the storm. Three out of four occasions when we went camping last summer (2020) we left in the sunshine and had rain for two out of three days. Still had a great time. We are now exploring the various Ontario Provincial parks so your efforts are much appreciated as we make plans.

    Just got my Scrubba (based on your review). We plan on using it on our long backcountry canoe trips and in our RV. With the way COVID is going, we don’t see Ontario Parks opening up their laundry facilities any time in the future.

    If you go towards the lighthouse to the day use area you can put your kayaks in the water there. Its a beautiful rocky beach with lots of fossils.

    One of the best parks . We go at least 3 times a year to presquile we were in site 73 on the water about 1 month ago it’s beautiful. We just left MacGregor point yesterday. Beautiful beaches there.

    Im going to Presquile late september i have site 67 on the water. This is our first park we camped at so it will be nice to be back. Have you ever been to Fairbank. Its only worth it if you get a water site. I had site 40 this year it was the best campsite i ever had.

    • @CampingwiththeColes
      @CampingwiththeColes  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's great that you got a water site at Presquile. As you saw, our friends had site 65 and it was very nice. I've never been to Fairbank but it's on my list.

    Watching all of your great reviews of the parks & RV camping all have been great! But what blew me away was the laundry bag, that is genius & awesome!! Where can you get those bags? What was the result of the tick? Had my own scare at Pinery one year too.

    • @CampingwiththeColes
      @CampingwiththeColes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the kind words. We love making the videos. The laundry bag is a Scrubba. I'm really bad about saying that I always put a link in the video description for most products shown in the videos. I have to remember to do that more. The Scrubba link is in the description of the Presqu'ile video. Here is the link amzn.to/2ZEGK0q.

    what campsite is the one you stayed in...#98 is what camp area?
    My wife loves being near the water...

    • @CampingwiththeColes
      @CampingwiththeColes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We were at 98 in High Bluff Campground. It was across the street from the water. Site 100 was huge, right on the water with easy water access. That would be the one to get, if you can.

    • @cdncycler
      @cdncycler 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CampingwiththeColes We are thinking of reserving Site 98 this mid-August for a week. My wife wants Site#100 right on the water. The wind factor is a concern. We have an Rdome that attaches to the Rpod. how was the wind all the time you spent there?

  • @michellepodnar1452
    @michellepodnar1452 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    How is Cheryl doing?
    I was bit by a black legged tick just down the road from there Oct 2019 at a cornfield, and at that time the health unit was not accepting any more specimens and to assume Lyme. They did accept emails of the photos to confirm species. I had to undergo 3 weeks of meds. Still have after effect.

    • @CampingwiththeColes
      @CampingwiththeColes  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for asking. Cheryl is fine. The tick was very small so couldn't have been on long. The tick was accepted at the Waterloo Public Health Unit, where we are located, and all was good.

    • @CampingwiththeColes
      @CampingwiththeColes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the support. Dog's aren't allowed on the main beaches. You can take them to the rocky shore in the campgrounds and day use area for them to enjoy the water. Happy Camping!

      I purchased it at a park store but I can't remember which one. I've seen them at a few of the park stores. Instead of buying the park patches I have a picture taken of me at each park, wearing the buff and pointing to the patch for the park we're at.

    What provincial park would you recommend for a fisherman on a waterfront lot that is quiet seclusive?

    • @CampingwiththeColes
      @CampingwiththeColes  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not much of a fisherman so I can't really say. I enjoy waterfront sites the most as I do a lot of paddle activities but I haven't tried fishing from them. Happy Camping!

    We love watching your videos on our TV, but do sit on our computers for leaving comments. We heard on the radio while driving back from Quebec last September 2020 that Sandbanks and Presqu'il were very popular with the residents of Quebec province in that year. We were wondering if you noticed the same.
