  • On a rare dry and sunny winter's day, we ride the famous Corkscrew Road in South Australia on our recumbent trikes. We then continue on to Paradise via the River Linear Park cycle trail in search of a cafe...

    I enjoyed your video very much! I just purchased a Catrike 2 weeks ago and I will never ride on 2 wheels again! What an awesome trail you have to ride there and you did a fantastic job on the video! Cheers mate!!!

      Hey thanks I appreciate your comment :) We have fun riding and I enjoy making these trike videos and I'm glad you enjoyed this one. There are many great and inspirational trike videos/movies by other riders up on TH-cam too :) All the best to you with your new trike and your own adventures!

    if you do not have a horn on your trike i advice getting one because if you are goining to do rides like these at some point you may need it.This video was great and hope to see more of them in 2017

      Yes! I use two different horns. Small electronic beeper for pedestrians. Loud Airzound air horn for trucks/cars.

    Simply marvellous. You got another subscriber! I have been riding bicycles for more than 40 years, but I think I'll add another wheel ;)

      Hey thanks! Yes the trikes sure are a fun and comfortable... If you ever do decide to add another wheel, you will get an armchair thrown in as a bonus! Cheers

    SA Triker-I thought so-I am 75 and find no fun in going up hills! Could you please explain what type of Camera you use and how you are mounting it? I suspect you have a chest mount? I also ride a Scorpion FS 20 and manage about 20-30 kms every 3 days. May need to get an E Motor some time soon so I can extend my horizons. Have you ever been to Brisbane? They have the most wonderful set of bike paths of any city and is a great way to go sight seeing either side of the river.

    What kind of light is that you have? It looks bright!

    • @satriker6076
      @satriker6076  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it is very bright. 7000 lumens I think. Two brightness settings. Cheap on ebay @261443505501 . I also use another one on the rear with a piece of red contact plastic over the lens plus I use a standard rear bike light too. I use the very bright rear light in heavy traffic.

    Does the camera have the speed and road data?

    • @satriker6076
      @satriker6076  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      David LoVullo Hi David, the short answer is that the speed/GPS data is captured by the free Endomondo App (on Windows Phone) during the ride and then after the ride I use Dashware video software to overlay a customised Dashware speedo gauge on top of the GoPro video so that it displays the GPS data captured by the phone. A bit techo but I found it fun to play with.. the gradient/altitude doesn't seem accurate but the speed is. You can also use other devices to capture ride data eg garmin and include rpm/cadence, even power output etc. Cheers.

    What is it with bike/walking paths that half the people on them prefer the wrong side?

  • @KeithAVass
    @KeithAVass 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    Congratulations-great video! I envy your great trails and paths in SA compared to ours in Hervey Bay. Interested in how you got your trikes up to the start points?
