There are so few NZ makers on YT. So this is great to see. Massively high level of craft and well constructed videos. You deserve a ton of followers. Looking forward to seeing more!
There's no good video on the internet I can find on how to get your facets right for the neck carve. Can you explain that? For example, how to come up with your own and how to copy one like a P bass.
This video might be helpful. th-cam.com/video/1m7gIHZryes/w-d-xo.htmlsi=zBBhiBw9w2g7uZ6x to copy a specific neck, make a template that matches the neck shape at each end, then trace those cross sections onto a piece of paper and carefully mark out and measure the facets.
@@silvermanguitars Just the idea of incorporating the angle into a neck through. I suppose you could do it with a router sled. Glue the body thick and make a new plane for the body. I think I'll just do it with a recessed Floyd and no angle. I've done plenty of those, the neck through is the only thing new to me.
@@dustinf11 how did that work out for you with no neck angle and using a floating trem? I just glued up my first neck through and am in the same boat as you were
That was the most intelligent looking guitar I have seen in quite a while!

I love your drill press. You are the only builder I've seen use it this way on wood. Giving me ideas....love your work. Subbed.
Magnificent, thank you for sharing!!!
Beautiful guitar and I love p90s but I gotta be honest, a tele without a bridge pickup is a crime against humanity.
absolutely stunning guitar! It looks georgous
That gigantic sanding board is an awesome idea.
Like all great ideas, I stole it from someone else on TH-cam
@@silvermanguitars Well, then, I'm stealing it from you!
Beautiful guitar, man. Where did you learn all the details of how to align things and check fret leveling and such?

Can you provide a link to the serial number stamp holding fixture you used? I want to do the same to my basses. Thx.

Does this guitar have any neck break angle? I've been trying to figure out how to do break angle on a neck through.
No angle on this one, where are you getting stuck?
