    Such an amazing upgrade. We have noticed the best performance using the Rapid Bike EVO units. Its amazing how smooth a Ducati throttle is SUPPOSED to be ;)

    Your channel is so entertaining, awesome content! I do have 2 questions. 1) When installing this system to my 2013 Ducati Monster 796 do I need to eliminate the factory exhaust valve and servo motor system? Will eliminating them improve performance? 2) Is a quickshifter necessary when installing this system?

    • @blind3pot266

      Quick shifter is a very fun add on I recommend it if you have the funds to do so

    • @ClutchFirst
      @ClutchFirst  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can go either route. The Rapidbike Fuel Management system will re-callibrate to the current set-up. That's the beauty of this system. I'm running a Rapidbike QS on my Monster but it's not necessary. Thank you for watching and Subscribe to help the channel grow.

    How would you turn the bike back to stock without having to take out the whole rapid bike system?
    I have the RB on my 2018 Ducati Monster 821 (2years now), but I’m running into issues with the bike running too lean/rich (stock rear manifold pipe glowing red). I have a full SC Project exhaust system and sprint filter as well.
    Performance wise, I feel like it’s working really well. No error readings from the Ducati dealership mechanic. But they suggest I put on the stock exhaust so they can really see what’s going on (their words not mine)

    So did you notice a significant difference just with an air-filter and RB module? I'm seriously considering buying one and pairing it with an MWR air filter (already have slip-ons). When you say that he bike's burning more fuel; how much more? Has it become a guzzler or have you just lost a few miles to a gallon of gas? Thanks

    • @ClutchFirst
      @ClutchFirst  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You'll notice a pretty big difference in performance once you ride the bike for about 100miles. I've heard and read some great things about the MWR airbox mod. Also, I find myself filling a lot more ofter since the bike is running more like a race bike...continously climb the rev range without plateauing. Before the RB mod, I usually fill up every 120 miles now it's 100-105 miles. On that note, you can always plug the bike to your PC and remap for better fuel consumption. Rapid Bike has a great customer service team thats more than will to assist you over the phone or via email.

      Ok, thanks for your reply. I'm a tad confused though since some videos refer to files being downloaded from the company's website. So do you need to install some base maps beforehand?

    • @raysup

      No. This module auto tunes based on ambient conditions. It's actually superior to a dyno tuned map.

    Hi, I followed your tutorial (which are amazing) to remove the tank and give my bike's battery a little kick since it died quarantining. But as I open up the bike I found another issue: There's no fuel hose on either side. Admittedly this is a flaw on my part since I bought the bike used, and I didn't check the whole bike thoroughly prior to making the deal. I just want to ask whether if this will cause the bike more issues in the future (up until now it has been without problem, aside from some minor issues that can be iron-out easily). Thank you, stay safe!

      The previous owner may have removed the charcoal canister that sits on the left side of the bike and with it the hoses. Hoses should be cheap. There is a conversion to remove the charcoal canister if you’d like to search it up. Just trying to help!

    IT's been a few months, What do you think of it? How did it tune the Filter and the Exhaust?

    • @ClutchFirst
      @ClutchFirst  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a lot to explain in just a reply. I'll be doing a follow up video in the near future. So far, the bike’s performance has improved a lot. However, it does burn a bit more fuel. The Rapid Bike Fuel Management system continuously tunes the bike based on the riding criteria, elevation, air intake and how much you're pushing. If you're coasting, it's going to auto tune for more a relaxed ride. And if you're pushing hard, the power curve performance will change. It's very impressive and one of my favorite mods. In conjunction with QuickShifter, the bike is a beast. I can't explain this enough, but I can assure you - this mod is very impressive and that's not even speaking on the fact that you can change the mapping if you really want to.

  • @HoldFastFilms

    Nicely done Mike! I want one but can't justify the cost :/

    • @ClutchFirst
      @ClutchFirst  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      You would love this mod! The best way I could explain it, it's like unleashing your bike's full potential on the rev range. Only downside, I'm finding that I'm using more gas though, but the Duc sounds even meaner and performs better. 😉

    • @MotovationUSA
      @MotovationUSA 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The cost is certainly a factor when it comes to tuning, but if you compare this to a power commander and a dyno session, this is the far better option. No more running great in the cold weather and sluggish in the heat. Full auto tuning ALL the time.

    • @HoldFastFilms
      @HoldFastFilms 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I will definitely get it at some point. You got that itch going now haha

    • @HoldFastFilms
      @HoldFastFilms 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh I know. I'm not new to tuning. I should have said I can't justify the cost at the moment and didn't mean that the product is not worth that amount :)

      CLUTCH1st ok right on! Cause I just installed a SC Project CR-T slip-on exhaust on my 2018 Ducati Monster 821 and it runs great right now but don’t want to mess up in the long run without a tune. I called up sc project and heard from a couple people saying that the rapid bike will adjust the seat height to its highest setting. I ride on the lowest setting because I am a pretty short dude and that concerned me. Wanted to see your opinion.
      I was also told if I didn’t want to ride at the highest seat height then a termi remap Ecu flash can be done but not as optimal as rapid bike. Your thoughts?

    • @Tankst3rTube
      @Tankst3rTube 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      CLUTCH1st and also I already have Ducati Performance’s quick shifter already installed. Does that have any play or part on the rapid bike?

      CM MOTO The Monster is alive, ALIVE! 😀 The adaptive tuning took affect around 150 miles after the installation. The bike climbs up the rev range like a beast now. The one gripe is that I'm refueling a lot more often.

      only 12Okm on it yet and still in brake in period , seating position is comfyyy, dodging cones left to right its a bit more sluggish than the 797 and the brakes feel a bit softer but they are the same rotors, maybe because its still so new
