    Do you think Rune can become a #1 player in the world?

    • @sebastiansantos5561

      He is totally young to do it¡! But his rivals are top players as him; so the compite in the future for the number #1 in the world will be really hard for all of them

      @kgindpls I would have said yes a year ago, however, his attitude and inconsistencies make me think despite his incredible talent, it may be more difficult than we think

    He doesn't "take the racket back", he has a very disciplined UNIT TURN. When a player hears "take the racket back" they most often reach back with the racket without turning their upper body/shoulders. This bring-back/take-back language is one of the biggest problems with coaching in our sport.

    • @alpakka1920
      @alpakka1920 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Yes exactly! The take back of the racket is more of a consequence of the unit turn rather than the initiating part. The racquet head is just the end of the whip with the body turning being the handle. Another important thing to note and why Holger has such a good forehand is that he plants his feet at point of contact so that he has a stable base, which is why the power transfers through to the racquet head whilst still maintains accuracy.

    On a side note, I like the level of detail on the back wall. The painted net is lower in the middle!

    You make amazing videos, thank you. There's a new style two handed backhand that Coric, Rune and Alcaraz all hit; can you do an analysis or how to hit that style. Looks to be a huge shoulder turn, point the blade to the incoming ball and they are very powerful. It's like a Next Gen Two Handed Backhand:)

  • @j.jmcquade5278
    @j.jmcquade5278 ปีที่แล้ว

    The new Gen must catch the past greats sooner or later. It only took until Rafa hit 35 with some injuries, Federer late 30s, and they might catch Djokovic by the time he hits 40.
    That said, nice forehand analysis of Holger. This kid is awesome. Perfect tennis physique & a lot of passion.

    i mean they are rallying cross to cross - so its easy to get ready or prep the forehand. In a real match would this be always possible ?

      @jamesscholtz9525 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      He uses a western grip. I think it is more semi western than full because of the angle of his racket and angle of arm.

    Yes Holger is going to be up there and I think he can rival Alcaraz if you watch the final match with him playing Acaraz in the next generation final in Milan .

    Sinner, Alcaraz and Auger-Allisime, Korda, Ruud - Next top guns, trailing behind will be hot tempered, no server Rune and Shapo. They'll have flashes, but never consistent, like the prior listing. That's just my prediction.
