- Hey there Star Wars collectors, in this video I take you through every Star Wars The Vintage Collection Princess Leia figure and card back and reveal my top 3!
If we include the figures in the Vintage Orginal Trilogy Collection and Vintage Saga Collection, there have been a total of eight different Princess Leia Organa figures on vintage Kenner style card backs. Check them all out, including variants, and find out my favorite.

Leia Boussh was one of my favourite vintage figures as a kid along with Lando Skiff. Think it had something to do with the removable helmets which were a first for that line. I agree with the order of your cardbacks! I hope they re-release Bespin Gown Leia using the headsculpt from the upcoming Bespin Escape Leia (as long as it turns out decent!) I think the Leia that needs updating the most is that 2004 ANH version (along with Han and Luke!) Would love to get another Slave Leia too, but we may not see that materialise again! :(
Glad we're getting the bespin escape Leia, totally agree with you on the bespin Leia needs a new headsculpt.
I have all eight VTC Princess Leia figures. Out of all of them, Slave Leia is my favorite one. I remembered that the figure with a Revenge logo is worth more than the Return logo.
Slave Leia has got to be my favorite figure of the bunch!
Great ranking! These are all some of the most beautiful cards in TVC. I especially love the Yavin Ceremony figure. It just feels like a card that Kenner would have done.

My top three for what have been released would have to be VC02 Hoth, VC134 Boushh and the VC88 Sandstorm Slave version. It would nice if they did some non-screen alternative of her in a more normal/casual attire since she is so scene specific. Something like the variants of Han's clothes that were in the comics. The Endor version would work without the poncho, a regular short sleeve shirt and vest.
Revenge of the Jedi card back for Slave Leia is the rarest!
Yeah that’s why I think but recently I have seen the Return card go for more.

Not a chance! Carrie Fisher's likeness us now a legal estate issue. In 2009/12 Carrie Fisher approved. Her estate now has to approve!

Yeah David, that figure is soooooooooooooooo much money. I really want it too but you know, every single thing from like 8 or 5 years ago is LITERALLY BEING CHARGED FOR 150 BUCKS ON AMAZON

My revenge of the Jedi prisoner Leia doesn't have the Boba sticker and is unpunched.It just looks better without the sticker.I never have found the bespin one at a reasonable price.good video with info.

Bespin Leia is my favorite by a wide margin. For those that aren't aware, the VC164 Leia is one of the rarest in all of the Vintage Collection, there are less than POTF Yak Face.

I just got the black series tru rancor pit with jabba slave Leia and the rest of the set, I took the box made a diorama with Jabba and everyone on top with a working trap door for Luke to fall through! Came out really cool and had Han in Carbonite put on the wall too. Going to do a review on it today on my channel

I really hope we see a General Leia in TVC at some point. I recently got the 5POA one from the TLJ line, and it actually looks pretty good.
Excellent vid tim 👊🏻 every card with leia is a beaut 🔥 think return and revenge leia seem to be about in equal numbers I.m.o revenge does hold a slight premium tho, a lot of the revenge cards seem to have damage too for some reason unfortunately. 🙂
I see that ANH Leia has the safety text below the Kenner logo. The other version does not have the safety text on the card. Nice video !
I like Leia Boushh as #3, Leia Bespin #2 and Leia Yavin as #1 for me.

I was a little surprised that you didn't call out the face sculpt of "Yavin Leia", as you did with "Bespin Leia". I'm not a completist, and I couldn't even bring myself to buy that thing for its lack of any resemblance to Fisher. But I do get that your ranking is based primarily on card backs and not on the figures themselves.
I really love "Hoth Leia" (photo-real version) myself, although it's a bit of a challenge to pose her without her arms looking like they're Popeye's. I also like the "Bespin Escape" figure you alluded to at the end.

I need to get the VSC Endor Leia for my Endor shelf. I'd like to reorganize that shelf to make it more of a combat scene with Han and Leia at the bunker with all the chaos of battle around them. I'm hoping for a re-release, possible update of that figure for the ROTJ anniversary coming up in a couple of years.
Slave Leia will be most rare because it is an adult theme Disney can't approve + Carrie Fisher in her likeness is not Carrie Fisher approved. Her estate can't approve because Carrie Fisher post 6 inch 2014 Slave Leia no longer approved her likeness in slave outfits!
I found both versions of TVC "Slave Leia" figures at retail but passed; I never cared for the card back photo. Also, I've always thought "Boushh" was pronounced "Bowsh" but noticed that many people online, especially in England and Australia, pronounce it "Boosh".
Yeah same with Harn or Han Solo, and Bowba or Bob A Fett. We always pronounce things slightly different

If they could release a wave with Star Wars Leia, Han, farm boy Luke, and Obi-Wan then I would be happy. Maybe throw in a new Greedo with some sharper paint detail and better articulation like the new figures. The Empire Leia always looks strange to me, but it’s nice to have

Tim, I know it’s an older video but I had a question about the Slave Leia and the Sandstorm Outfit Leia. Do you have both of these open? I ask because you have said that the latter is a cheaper way to get a Slave Leia. Are they the exact same figure with different accessories? I have both carded and looking to sell one. I only need the Bespin Leia but laying off in hope they will redp it...the head jut doesnt do it for me either. I have the slave leia return of the jedi card, but no offer sticker on it.
I don't have any Leia vc carded figure only the black series yavin in a box the endor ewok village outfit carded and loose. I like the hoth and boushh Leia VC I had the original one's when I was a kid and have them loose in my collection
Don't worry! The 2004-2006 Leias are much better than the fugly Black Series re-spins. Super articulation on worse molds didn't sell me in 2012-13 to buy them vs having my 2004-2006 ones!
I have the VC 164 Leia, but I purchased it on Amazon so the card got bent in shipping! Grrrrr.

Leia's Bespin Outfit is my favorite too! I don't have TVC version unfortunately, but I'm thankful I have the Hot Toys version.

Steverino I think she was part of the Saga series. Nice looking figure. I know people have used it in place of the 2004 figure 👍🏻👍🏻
Question for Bossk: I don't know if this question has been brought up here, but do you think we'll never get another "slave" (or as it's referred to now, Huttslayer) Leia for political correctness reasons? I remember there was a news story about some angry father over TBS one back in 2013. I read the article on Jeditemplearchives for anyone interested.
I’m not sure if it will be because of political correctness more that Carries estate may not allow it.
Hasbro may have dropped the ball on Leia. Her figures are so varied and cool. But not impressed with the face paint. Standards are high now. The best job has been Hoth. The Yavin Leialooks more like Last Jedi Leia and it wouldn't blow me away if a photo from LJ was used on photo real.better face needed everything else keep.
When are we ever going to see a modern A New Hope Leia? The face sculpts are garbage for all of these (this is coming from someone who cares more about the figures than the card backs)?
Slave leia could do with updating but in these politically correct times unlikely
