- Welcome to my review Hasbro's Star Wars The Vintage Collection Princess Leia Organa in her Boushh bounty hunter disguise!
This figure was was part of Wave 4 of the vintage collection and is numbered VC134 in the series.
I am sure you will all agree that this figure is long overdue. We have had her in the Saga line and in the Black Series but never on a vintage style card. This version of Leia Boushh is a straight repack of the Black Series version although Hasbro have used their new photo real face technology to drastically improve the likeness to Carrie Fisher from Return of the Jedi. In the main the rest of the figure is exactly the same albeit a slightly lighter shade of tan on her main body.

This is the one im most excited to add to my collection, i had the original back in the 80s when i was a nipper, this wave has got the collectors excited for 2019..great start to the new year, great review too👍🏻.
Thanks Dave. I'm the same, had the figure as a kid. Always thought it was so cool that Leia was disguised as a bounty hunter. a few versions later as we have a real quality figure!
Yeah that's definitely freakin' sweet how they put the helmet in a separate bubble on top just like how they used to do it back in the day...💯✔ Also the updated facial technology looks great, she's beautiful...👌🏼 Quite an awesome figure, no doubt...😌 And of course, the card back is superb...😏
It's the extra little things that matter. The attention to the detail of the original cardbacks and bubbles extra is really important to the people who remember them. Thanks for watching mate!

This was one of my favorites as a kid
The new face is better, but maybe it’s just me...I don’t see Carrie Fisher at all. Not even close. Maybe once I get one in hand I’ll change my mind. Thanks for another great review.
It's still fairly difficult to get it spot on with such a small head I reckon. The new paint certainly helps but there is always room for improvement. Thanks for watching mate!

I just got this figure a week ago and I have been waiting forever for this figure to come out on a Vc card I have the original vintage one the detail on her face looks like she jumped right off the screen and the likeness is just fantastic best figure so far in my opinion

that is the only female action figure i have in my Star Wars action figure collection. I wss hesitated to bought that figure because I always called that Leia's Wedding dress before she had a Honeymoon with Jabba the Hutt. Lol.

Loved the review excellent figure , only down side is I’m not a fan of the detonator being moulded into her hand. The scuplt and paint apps are fantastic. Now we need a new hope Leia with same paint job.

"Boosh!" you guys crack me up! BOWSH. As in bow on a ship. You hear it pronounced in a ROTJ making of video. As for the fig, its great, better than 6" black series! That looks like she's loaded on smack! And i wish they'd make the Thermal Detonator a SEPARATE accessory!

Ah I see, you are not happy with the figure. Maybe if you see it in hand then you might want it. If not there are other good ones in the wave.
They only pack ONE of these Leia Boushh figures per carton. That stinks.

The bubble looks crooked. Leia is not straight up and down.

I just picked this up, Leia looks like she's pregnant. The Vintage card is so cool the figure is a fail.

This figure sucks! Cannot mount on a stand because the feet are tiny and the joint interferes with the peg hole. Hand and fingers are so tiny that she doesn’t even hold the weapon. Figure leans to one side and looks like she’s drunk. To top it all off the pack on the back falls off every chance it gets. So bummed because the figure looks so good.
Friggin awesome man! ! And you're dead right... that previous Black Series release (in fact all of the orange card etc) could and should've been on VC cards! 😉
