I know on social media you've been actively participating & attempting to get everyone motivated to stay happy & healthy.
If anyone knows, it's you, that this isn't *easy* but it is definitely *easier* in comparison to the beachbody programs you've led, but this is a wonderful motivator & more of a way to get people involved in the fitness community. Hopefully this will be a catalyst for people to branch out and actively watch more of your programs. 😊

Hey man. I discovered insanity back in 2006. I am 36 now. Still enjoy high intensity workouts with my body weight. let my body recover 2 days, no excuses. I am a much better athlete. cross country skiing, hiking, rock climbing and mountain biking. Stay safe much love from Colorado!!! From 245 down to 209

This video has officially been added to my chest day, whether I'm using weights in my basement or if I go back to the gym when they reopen (oh wait that's today, decisions decisions) it's a nice endurance finisher after doing strength. Thanks for posting!!!!

I have 2 back to back HIIT group fitness classes tomorrow. Insanity and then Afterburner. So I won't be doing the challenge on that day. Probably 2 days after that. (Sunday is my recovery day.) I have never done such a challenge before so it will be interesting to see how I do.

I was wondering if you could give me some advice on lower abs and oblique exercises. I have been doing T25. Thanks BTW I have lost 12 pds in a month. But no noticeable improvement in those areas. Wondering for some advice. Thank you

Hi Shaun T,
I didn't know how to reach out to you directly so I am writing to you about some questions.
I'm starting insanity, but I am not sure about the in-between breaks as my stamina is super low. So instead of 30sec break, can I take about 2 mins, since I tried to follow 30s break, but I felt tired the whole day and threw up too. I love your workouts, but not sure how to approach them.

Hey just in case he isn't able to respond maybe I can help. He has mentioned in previous videos NOT to pause the workouts. If you have to take a longer break do so but keep the video playing and as your endurance builds up you'll notice yourself taking shorter breaks and/or taking them less frequently. I've done insanity a few times and from experience he's definitely right (obviously, lol). When I first did it years ago I would pause the video to catch my breath but too long of a break gets your heart rate out of the fat burn/cardio zone (too low). Don't worry about trying to keep up with the cast in the video. You'll get there. You're trying to beat yourself. So you have to fight those moments when you want to take a break. That's why he says dig deeper because you get stronger in that moment when you do those last 4 reps of ski abs even though you feel like you can't...or level 2 drills or moving pushups 😭. Hell even getting through the warm-up, lol. That's when the changes in your stamina happen and your better the next workout. Having a heart rate monitor helps too. That way you can see in real time whether you actually need a break or if you just need to get out of your head and push yourself a bit. And it's a better indicator of your fitness levels opposed to just looking at the scale. Hope I helped. Sorry for the long post, lol
