    Today's video we will be discussing about Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
    As much as medicines are important equally important are exercises to enhance or stabilize the lung functions and improve the quality of life of the patient.
    So go ahead and watch this video to understand about one very easily available type of Pulmonary Rehabilitation Exercise.
    PS: This Triflow exercise for chronic respiratory patients who have decreased lung functions. But this is not be used for Covid patients during the First 21days of illness as this may increase the chances of Patient Self induced lung injury (P-Sili) in covid patients

    I have been practicing in this spirometer past one year and now my breathing capacity has wastly improved Before the practice I could hardly hold my breath for just fifteen seconds But now I am able to hold my breath for thirty seconds

      Exercises any kind of Respiratory ones are not to be done by covid patients. Please note this as it can increase the lung damage.
      Any patient of covid must do lung exercises only after 14 days of recovery from covid

    I have postnasal drip and GERD problem. Can I do this exercise?

      Won't be of much use unless your lungs capacity is diminshed. Usually in post nasal drip and gerd a lifestyle modification of fruit rich diet, salad intake, curd intake and probiotics is helpful. Also consult ent specialist

    I used to hold a petal ka glass with my breath, if I leaked air it would fall on my foot. Never realised it was a breathing exercise.

    My brother has 14/25 CT severity score. He got discharged 3 days back after going through ICU and 4 days follow up in the hospital. When is the ideal time should he start this exercise!

    My mother had covid pneumonia its been 34 days she is in hospital with low oxygen support she is okay now but cannot remove oxygen for longer time.

    The mouthpiece has to be removed from mouth while expiration sir....then you can start the next inspiration again by putting mouthpiece in...

      Better is to complete 5-10 rounds of inspiration and then do expiratory part ...
