Very nice. The Kyrie, Sanctus and Agnus Dei are included as service music in the 1982 Hymnal of the Episcopal Church USA.

Choir was very good; the piano was a little bit too prominent and pounding out the cords.

Byron Peterson because this is the version for the pre-2010 mass translation. From 1970 until 2010 then Catholic church (in English) used the same translation of the liturgical mass parts as most Protestants (Episcopalians, Lutherans, Methodists, Presbyterians, etc.) use. However, since the new roman missal translation in 2010, we are using new words in our prayers and mass parts. So the music had to be slightly updated and adapted

When Pope Benedict was elected Pope, our Parish (I suppose) honored him with this German Mass by Schubert. It became quite popular, but after the introduction of the Roman Missal changes, the wording got a bit "trickier" and more words introduced and to fit them in, it destroyed the tempo a bit, so we had to shelve the Schubert German Mass, unfortunately. Sure did a beautiful job, y'all! (I'm from Texas, so thus, the y'all!) Great job.

Wonderful, but the Gloria was a bit too slow
