I’m 81 and have Restless Rose. It doesn’t emphasize the texture on my cheeks, blends smoothly and evenly, and stays color true throughout the day. Admittedly, my skin is exceptionally smooth for a woman my age (good genes and good skin care), but what that means is that if it works well for me, it should work very well for all you younger beauty lovers. I use a loosely packed soft squirrel brush, lightly dab it on the blush, tap it once on the palm of my hand, and then apply. I get a diffused luminous glow that is so very pretty; so very flattering. YSL knocked it out of the park with this formulation. My hope is that we’ll eventually get all the colors in the US. I’d really like to try the matte Rose Haze.
I’m up there with you ,Eileen, at 75 and also love the blushes. Totally agree that a soft fluffy Fude squirrel brush is the best applicator. Let’s cross our fingers that the others shades become available to us eventually. I’d love to try that satiny peach shade.
Oooh thanks so much for sharing Eileen! Hearing about your experience with the satin finish is super helpful to anyone wondering if it emphasizes texture ❤️
Your videos are probably THE most helpful when it comes to swatches, and seeing how a product will work on real people in real situations. That 44 Nude Lavalliere is just....im speechless. Fortunately i get paid tomorrow 😂❤
These looks so pretty and seeing you wearing them make me want them more.....But with releases like this, as its pernament ( so no rush needed) I have a rule to wait at least a month to see if my heart still desires them and wait for a sale/ discount code to get them a bit cheaper ❤
That is a seriously smart way to shop. No need to rush when it’s permanent, and with the sephora sale happening twice a year, you know a better deal is coming. Feels good to grab something you really want *and* save money at the same time. Solid plan. 👏🏼
You are so welcome! Glad you found it helpful. On my lips is NARS Afterglow lip shine in Orgasm and Charlotte Tilbury lip liner in Iconic Nude, they are linked in the description 😁 thx for watching!❤️
Alright…alright. I’ll buy it. Lol 😂. Been mulling around and couldn’t decide but I think I need to have at least one of these. Thanks for the thorough video ❤
Hi I am a new subscriber as of today ❤I really enjoyed and appreciated your approach to this review ! I thought this was the most in depth and easy to understand and thorough review of these blushes and I appreciated the real life application of what these would look like. I fell in love with nude lavelliere and peachy nude. Also I have that shade nude lavelliere in their liquid blush and I love it ❤can't wait for your next video!
Hi Nicole! Thanks so much for the love and welcome to the channel!🥳 question… does the liquid Nude Lavallière have shimmer? I’m curious about the finish of that one.
Excellent video and review. Your swatches and demos are stellar. I bet you can fall in love with Spicy Berry. I have it and also wear HG foundation in shade 8, and I’m over the moon for it. That deep shade as a light wash on the cheek is gorgeous and somehow does not look like a bruise.
That really speaks to the quality of this formula. When a deep shade can be blended into a soft, wearable wash without looking harsh or patchy... pretty impressive. Now u got me thinking I need to revisit Spicy Berry and give it another shot! 🤔
What a fabulous review! Arm swatches, cheek swatches, still comparing the pinks/berries/peaches…you had it all!! It was so, so helpful! I wanted Nocturnal Nude from the moment I saw these previewed. Coral Clash and Suave Sunstone also caught my eye. But none of them are available in the US! 😭😭 It made me so sad. But now that I’ve seen your video, I think I might just try Nude Lavalliere and Peachy Nude after all. I’d love to try a satin and a matte! I am putting them on my list for the next Sephora Sale. 🎉
I just googled Nocturnal Nude and wow, I get it🤩 The YSL UK & Japan sites are both sold out of it. Found Suave Sunstone on ebay but not Nocturnal Nude. Hope they eventually come to the US🤞
@FabiMadeup Yes it is beautiful like I have so many blushes including the Too Faced ones which remind me of the YSL but the formula of YSL is completely unique and doesn't compare to anything I have in my collection😌💕
This was a great review of all the shades. I purchased Nude Lavalliere and Restless Rose immediately online and they are beautiful on my light, dry, mature skin. Your skin shade is darker than mine and you gave fantastic suggestions as to who might look good in each shade. I just wish that the lighter shades that are on the international site were available here in the US. There is a light peachy satin shade that I would also buy because I cannot wear the stronger vibrant colors as they wash me out. ❤
Glad you found it helpful! I know, sooo frustrating that not all the shades are available in the US. Suave Sunstone is available on ebay, almost double the price though $85.99. But that one is matte so it might not be the one you are referring to.
@@kathleenp3135 Sephora Canada has it, but I’ve never ordered from there, so I’m not sure if they ship to the US or what the shipping costs would be. I'd love to know out of curiosity.
They are so cute. But I've got a blush issue as is! Looo I love Mac, Suqqu, nars, makeup by Mario, and on and on. Oh Surratt. Love them all!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👍🏼💕🥴
Stay strong. 😂 These aren’t going anywhere, so no need to rush. If one is still calling your name after a cool-off period, at least you can get it during the next Sephora sale and feel extra good about it! 💕👏🏼
I have Restless Rosé and Nude Lavallière and they are both great shades. No one needs more than 2 shades. This is Fabi’s job making makeup videos. You (the public) only need 2 max.
Thx for bringing that up! You’re 100% correct, the only reason I have them all is because it’s my job. It’s a business expense. My friend’s 10 year old watches my videos, we don’t want her to think that buying them all is normal.🫠
That’s a great question. In the video, I tested Hourglass Mood Exposure (*radiant* finish) next to YSL Peachy Nude (*matte* finish), but I didn’t realize until afterward that it wasn’t an apples to apples comparison. I’m planning to test matching finishes, matte with matte & satin with satin, and wear them side by side to compare performance. It will take a few days, but I’ll update you next week. I’m really curious about this too! If anyone has experience with both brands, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

What a fantastic thorough review! I look forward to more product launch reviews from you! So well done.
Thank youu! I'm always open to feedback on how to improve my reviews so if you ever have suggestions let me know :)
@ Honestky, the way you did this review was one of the best formats I’ve seen on you tube.

Ah, so I *finally* twisted your arm. Took some work, but we got there. 😂 Now the real question... are you going classic or statement blush?

great picks!

Glad you found it helpful! Where did you order Rose Haze from?
@ I’m in the Uk and ordered it from My Origines. Don’t know if it’s a Europe exclusive shade 🤔 But it looks absolutely beautiful, like a nude rose!
