I imagine the Dior concealer would suit my preferences too since I’ve been loving their recent complexion launches. That’s actually why I’m so excited to try their new Hydra foundation. Ah, the Hourglass Evil Eye Palette is such a great pick! total no-brainer for sure. And the Chantecaille Sheer Glow Rose Tint? I’ve seen reviews, but honestly, I’ve never been able to fully figure out what it’s doing in real life. It’s so sheer that, on camera, it’s like… is it doing anything? It's hard to tell. But clearly, it must be great because so many people love it. What do you like about using it under foundation? I'm so curious. And thank you for saying my videos are concise! Not all of them are this snappy lol 🫣 I've been known to take the scenic route while chatting about makeup. 😂 So glad you’re enjoying them though!

I like the Chantecaille tint because it is light, with just the right amount of moisture. I have combo skin. I was using a Dior primer (the glowy one) and the fragrance was just too much. The Chantecaille has a light rose scent that is less overwhelming. Also, I am using the Ogee foundation stick, which can be somewhat dry. On another note, I just ordered a Hindash highlighter, can't wait to try it! BTW, your story about your plane ride and the woman with the Westman Atlier blush was awesome!

Hi! Dior Pearly and Armani 01 are actually quite different. Dior Pearly has larger, more scattered glitter particles with an iridescent blue-ish shift depending on how the light hits. You can see it in action on my eyes here: th-cam.com/video/mT1M9qsyRFw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=zZGu4uGMwxpGExZJ&t=961 Armani 01, on the other hand, has a more refined shimmer with fine, densely packed particles that give a pearly white glow without any multi-color effect. Just a heads-up, both have noticeable shimmer or glitter particles, so if you’re not into that, it’s something to keep in mind. Hope that helps!

Such a great point! Back then, it really seemed like creating things to last was just common sense, not a marketing angle. Like, during the holidays, I baked Christmas cookies with my mom, and we used her 40-year-old hand mixer. Forty years! And it still works perfectly 🤯 But my coffee-maker breaks every 2 years 🤦‍♀️ You’re so right, real quality isn’t new, we just forgot what it feels like!

Honestly, that’s such a great question! If you use less of Rose Crush, it might give a similar vibe to Barely Blushing, but the tones are still a little different. Barely Blushing has that softer, muted look that’s super easy to keep subtle, while Rose Crush leans a bit rosier and punchier, even when applied lightly. The difference in color does show up more on lighter skin tones because there’s less natural pigment competing with the blush. On deeper tones, both shades blend into the skin in a way that makes them look more similar. So it depends on your skin tone as well. Hope that helps! 😊

For me, it lasts pretty much all day, even in humid Florida weather... at least on non-sweaty days. My skin is normal but leans dry, so I usually don’t need any extra help. On those super humid days, though, I’ll use a setting spray just to be safe, but honestly, that’s pretty rare. If you have oily skin, I imagine a setting spray would be more of a must, but I can’t say for sure since that’s not my skin type.😉
