- RC Mudding is a ton of fun! You've seen my mud truck builds and saw my epic loss last year at the No Limit RC World Finals. Well, I bought the JConcepts Bog Hog body when it was announced last year at the finals and had it ready to race this year. I did much better and took 3rd place. Enjoy some of the mud truck fun. We each got two attempts...if the trucks didn't die after the first run...which a few did. :)

The race is a bit of an afterthought. There's really no regulations and solid axle compete with independent suspension - which handle completely different. I'd put more into it if it had a class and brackets of some sort.
I hear ya... I would definitely love to participate in something like this! I just need to find something in my area or try to organize something myself like this. I’m working on my first mud truck and watching this is really pumping my up haha 👍🏼

It is pretty insane. It's normally my Max-D truck that I race, but I switch the wheels and body out for mud truck racing.

Haha. That kid is so fast! I will say...mine was the fastest solid axle. The other two fast ones were converted Slashes I believe.
I'm not sure how these are "mud trucks" or where the mud was at... saw some high wheel speed that allowed for driving on top water. Still cool though.

Not really for this event. The mud racing is an afterthought. Just fastest one through. I do like that for this event. I wouldn't mind racing them where there are classes.

They aren't sold as a mud truck out of the box. It's an SMT10 with Mud tires put on it.

What kind of trucks are these?
All different kinds. My boghog is based on an Axial SMT10 with JConcepts Fling King tires on their Dragon wheels. Others had slashes and all kinds of rigs
@@CCxRC ok so I own a dead bolt one of the axails and want to make it a bogger what do think I should do to get it to run like these I have a 13t brushed motor but def does not rip like these.
Quentin Rowe oh yeah. You could do that. The dragon wheels have extensions to help widen your stance. But a brushed motor can work great in water.
The bad thing is that people are defeating the whole purpose of the bounty hole cause all they do is water skip.

They are Mud Trucks that we’re racing, but yeah. They were rushed by how late the event went and it didn’t have time to make it real mud.

Looks like a water skipping competition. People domt know how to make mud
They know how to make mud, but there was limited time. It was the last event of a 4 day race event and people were trying to get home. They did freestyle after the races and they were digging the holes and trying to fill them with a slow dripping hose. Most people left, so only a handful of people even ran it.
